Chapter6
Seeing this, she frowned.
The password to this door was set by her.
It was her and Terrence’s birthdays.
So, there shouldn’t be any mistakes.
Suddenly, a middle–aged woman’s voice came from inside the house.“Who is it?” Then, the door opened a crack, and a face appeared behind it.
Valerie asked cautiously, “Who are you?”
The middle–aged woman asked back, “Who are you?”
Valerie pushed the middle–aged woman aside and looked inside the house, only to see Margaret walking out of the bedroom wearing a nightgown.
Margaret was living in Valerie’s marital house!
Valerie couldn’t help but chuckle out of anger, “Who allowed you to live here?”
Margaret was not surprised at all when she saw Valerie.
She deliberately moved in here because she knew that this house was the marital home of Valerie and Terrence.
“It was Terry who let me move in. Valerie, don’t you understand? Terry only has me in his heart!”
With that, Margaret looked at Valerie, waiting for Valerie to fly into a rage.
However, to her surprise, Valerie remained calm and took out her phone, calling the property management and saying, “Hello, property management? My house has been illegally occupied by a stranger. I need an explanation and a solution.”
One hour later, someone came.
But it was not a property management staff.
It was Terrence.
He walked in with a cold face. When he saw Valerie, his eyes were filled with impatience.“What are you making a fuss about this time?” Valerie thought she wouldn’t care about it anymore, but his attitude still stung her, making her feel a moment of suffocation.
“This is our marital home. Why did you take it upon yourself to let her move in?” she questioned.
The tension between the two was palpable at the moment.
Margaret was very satisfied with the scene in front of her and didn’t mind making things worse for Valerie.
So, she sobbed, “Terry, I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. I didn’t know this was your marital home. I will move out right away…”
As she spoke, she covered her chest, coughing violently.
