Sia readily agreed with the mortifying challenge in order to save the stray dog. Her face, neck and ears flushed red when she addressed Sebastian as husband.
Sebastian’s throat rolled slightly, at the tempting sight. When Sia first declared their engagement, Sebastian thought it was absurd, but she never falled to
surprise him each day, and they were all
good surprises.
“Take the dog outside and have it cleaned up by tomorrow.” Sebastian finally relented, addressing
the butler.
“Huh? Are you still sending it away?” Sia asked. “No Kitten, the stray stays.““Really? You’re the best,

Sia jumped excitedly throwing herself into Sebastian’s arms and kissing his cheek, she skipped happily back to the puppy.
Since she was a child, Sia had liked cute furry animals like cats and dogs, but Rose turned out to be allergic to furs, so she never got to keep one until now.“What name would you give it, Ms Anastasia?” Butler Greg said noticing her excitement.

Sia looked closely at the puppy’s clear, black eyes for a minute.
“I know,” she clapped her hands. “Let’s call it Chubbles! It’s so skinny I can feel it bones. I hope it’ll grow so fat and become chubby one day. So I name it Chubbles. Right, Chubbles? Do you like your new name?” Sia brushed it’s dirty little ears.
“Woof!” The dog replied.
Sebastian watched the scene unfold from the couch smiling subconsciously, his heart warming a little. His once large and deserted mansion finally felt like home.
“I’ll take care of it until it gets vaccinated tomorrow, you should go to bed early Ms Anastasia.” Mr Greg said thoughtfully.
“Okay.” Sia agreed and went upstairs along with Sebastian contentedly.
The next day, Chubbles was cleaned and got it’s vaccines. throughout the day and she stayed around it every time she came from school.

Soon the weekend arrived and before she knew it, it was Vivienne’s birthday.
Sia wore an elegant caramel–colored dress and took the gift she had prepared to the Rose Garden Villa where Vivienne lived. The place was crowded with lots of reporters trying to get a peek inside the mansion. Sia spotted Bella as soon as entered the party hall containing many distinguished
guests.
Inside the hall, people toasted with laughter.
Vivienne, who was dressing up in her room on the second floor, received the information about Sia’s arrival from a maid. She broke into a sinister smile thinking about her sweet revenge. Because of Sia, she was reduced to wearing wigs everyday! But by the time she’d be done with her, Sia wouldn’t be able to show her face outside anymore.“Did you have everything I asked for prepared?” “Yes Ms Vee, everything has been arranged as planned.”
“Great, let’s go down.”
Vivienne changed into her dress after the maid left.
Sia was by the snacks table along with Bella tasting each item on display when suddenly she was shoved forward as someone ran into her.
“Woah, are you alright?” Bella held her stopping her from crashing into the table.
“Umm. I’m fine Bells.” Sia said gaining back her balance.
“Please forgive me ma’am, it was an accident.” A distressed looking maid said, wrinkling her fingers. “A lot of the guests out there were requesting this mango sorbet, so I rushed over without thinking.”
Sia took pity on the maid and nod her head. “It’s alright, just be careful next time. You wouldn’t be able to get out easily if you bump into someone important.”
The maid nodded and side stepped to get the sorbet, smirking when no one was looking.
But up on the second floor, a man standing in a corner observing the hall below took notice of what happened.
“Sir, should I intervene and help Ms Anastasia out?““Don’t, I have other plans.” Sebastian spoke just as Vivienne stepped out of her room. And she saw the imposing figure.

Those were all the encouragement Viv needed. She opened the red ribbon slowly revealing the gift laying inside the box for the dozen curious eyes. Except the box was empty.
“What… Why is the box empty?” Someone whispered.
