Chapter 363 Why Is Andrew at the Hospital?
The driver moved swiftly, opening the car door and sliding into the driver’s seat.
A calm yet firm voice came from the back. “Did you handle everything?”
“Mr. Nash, I followed your instructions and spoke with Ms. Brooks.”
Nash sat still, his car window slightly lowered, allowing a sliver of light to cast across his face.
His expression was distant.
Beneath it lay something heavier–a deep sense of helplessness.
From an outsider’s perspective, Nash had everything–success, wealth, a flourishing career, and a relationship others admired. But the one person he truly loved… was no longer by his side.
What was the point of having everything except the one person he loved?
Even if he regretted it now, there was no undoing the past.
“What did she say?” Nash asked. “How long did you talk? What else did she mention?”
The driver relayed Caroline’s response in full.
Nash listened quietly, his face unreadable.

“Mr. Nash…” the driver hesitated. “Are you sure about this? Are you really going to investigate? If Ms. Julia finds out, she’ll cause a scene.”
“She can if she wants. This is the last thing I can do for Caroline.”
“Actually, Ms. Brooks was hoping you would-”
“I know,” Nash interrupted. “She’s always been this way. She’s too kind, too soft–hearted, always reluctant to trouble others.”
The driver didn’t say more–there was no changing Nash’s mind.
“This is my fault,” Nash muttered, almost to himself. “If I had chosen her back then, fought for her, married her despite the Newton family’s pressure… the Brooks family wouldn’t have handed her over to David. None of this would have happened. Why? Why did I let greed and ambition cloud my judgment? Why did I choose my career and Julia over the one woman I truly loved?”
He lowered his head, pressing his face into his hands, his shoulders trembling slightly.
Regret was the most meaningless and worthless thing in the world.
Nash allowed himself only one minute of indulgence.
Just one minute.
Then, he straightened, his expression calm once more. “Let’s go.”
The driver started the engine, pulling onto the road.

Chapter 363 Why Is Andrew at the Hospital?
As they passed the hospital entrance, Nash suddenly spotted a familiar figure.
His eyes narrowed.
Without hesitation, he rolled down the window, staring at the man until recognition settled in.
“Andrew?” Why was he here so late at night? And why did he look so secretive?
“Stop the car,” Nash ordered. “Now.”
Just as he was about to follow, his phone rang.
It was Julia.
His gaze never left Andrew as he answered.
“Hello, Julia.”

“Why aren’t you home yet? Do you know how late it is?” Julia asked, frustration lacing her voice. “I’ve been waiting for you. How much longer?”
“I’ll be home soon.”
As the car came to a stop, Nash stepped out quickly and strode toward the hospital entrance.
David and Andrew, half–brothers within the Ellison family, had once waged a fierce power struggle. In the end, David triumphed, securing his dominance.
Their rivalry was no secret–everyone in high society knew how it ended.
Andrew’s defeat cost him everything—his influence, his status, and any say in the family, leaving him completely under David’s control.
Tonight, from the quiet of his car, Nash had watched it all unfold.
