After what happened two days ago, I discovered that Alpha Damen didn’t know who his mother was. His father brought him up alone. Which made me wonder if he ever felt a mother’s love and touch. Perhaps this was why he was always harsh and mean and sometimes didn’t know how to communicate his feelings effectively.
What he told Granny the other day was true, he had found his mother and she was arriving at the pack today. I didn’t know what to feel about that, his mother coming here was a little strange to me but it didn’t mean I wasn’t happy for him. I was.
Granny Sophia was making preparations for all the guests that were going to be arriving to celebrate with the Alpha. However, I noticed that she wasn’t herself. It was as though she was jealous that Alpha Damien was going to be getting his mother and wouldn’t have the time for her anymore. I went to her as she was dishing the meal for the visitors. She looked stressed as she had been working all day.
“You should rest while I take over,” I said grabbing the tray from her.
“No, you are the Alpha’s daughter. You shouldn’t be seen doing things like this.” She dismissed me gently, smiling to my face.
“You are like a mother to Alpha Damien, you shouldn’t be doing this too.” I tried taking the spoon again and she chuckled moving it to the other side.
“I will not be leaving until you give it to me. Rest assured that I would wait here until you give it to me.” I stretched my hand to her and she laughed finding me amusing.
“Okay, I need to do some other things anyway.”
“No, you are supposed to go and rest. You have been working all morning and you’ve had little to no assistance.”
Grandma raised her hands in the air before surrendering to me. I knew she wasn’t going to rest though. The woman was very active for her age. I continued from where she stopped. When I raised my head I saw Alpha Damien smiling with his mother. She was pretty, had brunette hair, and a beautiful smile. Alpha Damien’s smile was contagious, I couldn’t help but smile myself. He must have missed her so much.
I continued to dish the food while the maids served the visitors. looked back at Alpha Damien only to find him staring back at me. He stood and started to walk toward me. This caused me to be nervous and although I was angry at him for what he had done and said to me, I couldn’t bring myself to deny the pleasure his presence brought.

“Granny!” He called which ticked me off. I was able to get her to rest only for him to try to stop that. He was being a pain in my fucking ass crack.

“Stop, what are you doing?” I asked.
“Looking for granny, she should be doing this. She is better at it He looked around for her again through the maids. He almost grabbed one of them which I knew he was going to send her to go and call Granny.
“She is sick, can you just stop.” I couldn’t hide my annoyance anymore. However, I couldn’t point out why I was annoyed.
“Really?” He dropped his gaze on me with concern so I nodded seeing that he cared about her enough to stop. Then he grabbed the maid he was going to before and then told her to take over my spot.
“Come with me.” he said.
