The girl on the motorcycle, with a slight smile on her lips, felt the freedom and passion of the wind as she revved up the
throttle
After her time travel, she fell in love with motorcycles to release her inner stress
With a slick drift, she stopped the motorcycle at the school gate
With twenty minutes left before class, Hailey still had to make a trip to the administration office.
Joshua was a big shot at school. Despite his rebellious nature, his good looks alone could make girls swoon
As soon as his motorcycle arrived at the school gate, it drew hushed screams from the girls.
“It’s Joshua”
Joshua actually came to school today.”
“He is so handsome. I can’t take it!”
“Wait, the rider doesn’t look like Joshua. It’s a girl.”
“No way! Joshua never let anyone touch his motorcycle.”
Hailey got off the bike, took off her helmet, and ruffled her hair. Her beautiful hair, tousled by the wind, revealed her stunning, delicate features.
She casually tied her hair into a ponytail, showing off her slender neck. Shining bright like a diamond, she captured everyone’s attention.
“Where’s the administration office?” she asked.
ΤΗ
“I’ll take you there.” Joshua put the helmet away.
Hailey hummed in agreement.
The two entered the school, and everyone finally snapped out of it
“That girl is so pretty!”
“Must be the new student; she’s way too gorgeous. No wonder even Joshua is smitten.”
“So beautiful and cool. I’m in love!”
Hailey
had no idea that just upon arriving at school, her pictures had already spread across the school forum.
The moment she dismounted from the motorcycle, every frame was captured and posted online.
Her long, slender legs, flowing hair, and stunning face–each image exuded irresistible charm
Many were amazed that the new student was even prettier than the campus belle, Selena.
Everton High School, being both a prestigious and elite academy, quickly saw Hailey’s identity exposed.
After all, such a big banquet was held just yesterday, attended by many young elites from noble families.
However, Hailey was unaware of all this as Joshua took her to the administration office.

Chapter 13
After finishing her report and collecting her textbooks, she strolled leisurely toward Class A.
93%
Class A was the top class; almost everyone there was a straight–A student, though a few got in due to family connections— Hailey was considered one of those.
In just a short while, under Selena’s subtle influence, the students in Class A had formed a very negative impression of Hailey: raised in the slums, rude, ill–mannered, up to no good, bullying her sister, arrogant, and with poor grades, only getting into Class A because of family arrangements.
“How does someone like that deserve to be in Class A? It’s an insult to us,” said a girl, Annie Benton, who was a close friend of
Selena’s.
“Annie, don’t say that. Selena pulled Annie’s hand, her face showing a look of distress. “She’s my sister.”
Annie looked at Selena with a mix of anger and pity. “She’s bullying you, and you’re still defending her? You treat her as your sister, but does she treat you as her sister!”
“Selena, you’re just too kind–hearted. That’s why people take advantage of you,” said another girl with a ponytail, Noelle Sutton, also a close friend of Selena’s.
“Alright, Selena, don’t worry about this. We’ll make sure to get her out of Class A Annie narrowed her eyes, looking intimidating
Just as she finished speaking, a girl walked in.
Hailey was wearing a simple blue–and–white school uniform. Despite the plain outfit, she looked extraordinary.
Her skin was as glistening, her lips red, her teeth white, her eyes bright and charming. Her soft hair was casually tied back. revealing her long and graceful neck.
Though her posture was relaxed, her entire demeanor radiated a unique brilliance, like a luminous pearl.
As soon as she entered the classroom, all eyes were on her, and the classroom fell into an eerie silence.
Half of this silence was due to Hailey, and the other half due to Joshua, who was following behind her.
“You should go back. Hailey took the textbooks from Joshua.
Joshua chuckled, “Don’t worry, Hailey. I’ll get the old man at the administration office to transfer me to Class A by this afternoon.”
“Do as you please.” With that, Hailey carried her books, found an empty spot, and sat down, ignoring the gazes around her, and immediately laid her head on the desk to catch up on sleep.
Soon, the bell for class rang.
The first class was taught by Molly Lugo, the math and homeroom teacher.
New student registration was supposed to be handled by the homeroom teacher, who would bring them in and introduce themselves. But Molly never liked students with poor grades. Besides, Selena had told her that Hailey was just the daugh of a deceased ex–wife and wasn’t favored in the Dalton family.
Molly immediately got the message.
As soon as class started, she saw Hailey daydreaming, which only deepened her unfavorable impression of the new student. “Hey, the new one, come up and solve this problem.” Molly said, looking down at Hailey with disdain from the podium.

“Me?” Hailey rubbed her eyes and looked up, a bit confused.
Π
“Yeah, you. What were you doing?” Molly said coldly. “With poor grades, you need to study hard. Don’t be a drag on our class. There’s a monthly exam next week. If you fail, you’d better switch to another class. We don’t allow students with poor grades who don’t study in this class
Hailey responded with an “Oh, stood up calmly, walked to the podium, picked up a piece of chalk, glanced at the problem on the blackboard, and then stopped moving
Seeing the scene, Molly mocked, “Can’t do it? You’re not fit for Class A with poor grades should know their place. Our class is a key class. If you, as a rotten apple, spoil the whole batch, can you take that responsibility?”
Hailey glanced at her lazily, replying. “Ms. Lugo, I was just thinking about which solution to use. How do you know I can’t solve this problem?”
This problem was moderately difficult. It was clear Molly had deliberately chosen this problem to make Hailey look bad. The students were all calculating carefully, but no one seemed to be able to solve it
was no way she
Don’t mention where Hailey studied before; even if she had been studying in Hallon City all along, there was no could have figured it out unless she was a genius.
So Molly thought she was just pretending. She sneered. “Stop thinking about which solution to use. Why don’t you write them all out?”
At this time, someone below shouted, “Yeah, stop pretending.”
“Show us if you can.”
Selena looked worried at Hailey, saying, “Hailey, maybe you should give up. You can’t solve this problem. It’s really hard. Just apologize to Ms. Lugo.”
