“I know, I’m just anxious.” Alice hadn’t expected her suspicions to lead to this discovery. Alice calmed herself.“So Chloe’s father is an ordinary person. But he dared to kill, and he installed anti–hacking software on Chloe’s phone. That’s not something an ordinary person would do.”

Jack pondered.“Since he dared to kill, and more than once, a fugitive would be more cautious than the average person.”
“Yeah, how did such a fugitive become my parents‘ driver?” The car accident wasn’t simple; the driver had a problem.
Jack’s excitement grew.“We’ll figure it out. Stay calm.” He’d investigate relentlessly.

Jack looked at Alice.“But about the driver, it’s been years. You can only ask the Land family.” Alice knew she could only ask Nathan. Ethan was too kind to Chloe. Nathan handled family affairs and must know. But Nathan was in surgery; she needed to ask him in person to avoid complications. Any slip–up could make Chloe’s father flee. She had to be careful.

Chloe said quickly, “Alice, I know you’re angry, but you can’t disrespect Big brother and Fifth brother. Offending the Chens will hurt the Lands.” She didn’t want Alice to interfere; Lewis had solved the problem. Her father could only kill people, not help with this.

The manager, arrogant, moved Lewis to the corner. Lewis’s face turned red.“What are you doing? Wait until Big brother finds out!”
Chloe was surprised; they weren’t there for Lewis. Who were they waiting for? The manager stood before Jack and Alice.“Please, come in.”
Jack didn’t react, as if this was normal. Alice was calm; she knew the manager was showing respect to Jack because of Garrett. It was a slap in the face for the Land family. Alice, arm–in–arm with Jack, looked at Lewis and Chloe.“Do you have memberships?”

green. She happily entered with Jack. Jack glanced meaningfully at the manager, who understood. He looked at Chloe and Lewis.“No membership, no entry.” Ethan had called ahead, but Jack had spoken, so they had to be stopped.
Chloe felt embarrassed.“Fifth brother, call Big brother.”
Lewis did, but Ethan didn’t answer. They were stuck outside.
Alice laughed in the private room. Jack opened the window.“Look.”
