Chapter 2 

After being locked in the basement for a whole day and night, I was finally let out. 

My mother looked at me coldly and scolded, “If you had been so honest, you wouldn’t have had to suffer all this.” 

Her words weighed heavy on me but with my last ounce of strength, I dialed the emergency number, barely moments before I passed out. 

“Is anyone there, please help my baby, help.” I said breathlessly. 

The call was quickly answered on the other end and after bracing myself to tell the doctor where I was, 

Soon after that I lost consciousness. 

When I woke up in the hospital, it was three days later. 

The first thing I did when I woke up was to touch the small of my abdomen. 

It was very flat, and the curve that had once been a slight bulge was gone, like a reminder 

that a little life had left. 

I closed my eyes and let the tears slide down my pillow. 

The therapist was beside me and said gravely, “Luna, from the results of your body’s tests. it appears that you have signs of having suffered abuse before the miscarriage 

Ah, that was a bitter truth.. I was traumatized by my own family… 

My brother, Alexander, kicked and punched me one at a time and even kicked me in my pregnant belly several times out of fear that I would resist their arrangement. 

That’s when I heard the nurse’s anxious interruption: 

Alpha Drew, this is a hospital, you can’t just barge into the ward…… 

The door to my hospital room was then kicked open. 

Alpha Drew, who I had been married to for over three years, was now looking at me angrily. 

After he signaled the therapist to leave the room, leaving just the two of us, he snarled at 

me: 

“Why won’t you come to my wedding to Linda? Will you show some class and realize that you are still my Luna, it’s just that we pack are about to have two Lunas! Linda said that I’m the man who’s going to be the Alpha King from now on, it’s normal to have two Lounas, what kind of temper are you pulling?” 

He frowned as he looked at my bloodless face. There were no traces of empathy in his eyes, just a cold look. 

Drew didn’t really seem to bother about my health and instead snorted, “Faking illness? 

Shirley, your tactics are so cheap you expect me to believe them?” 

The look on Drew’s face, who once would have tensed up at a small cut on my finger, was unfamiliar to me. 

He didn’t even seem to realize that our baby was gone. 

I looked at the man I’d rather give up everything to be with for the long haul in the first place and spoke calmly after gathering some strength.., “Drew, let’s get a divorce.” 

Drew narrowed his eyes in disgust, “Here we go again, be honest and have the baby and I 

won’t pay you any less.” 

I touched my already flat belly as a sharp pain welled. up in my heart. 

Due to the fact that my wolf disappeared after I made my last wish, my body’s functions were affected, and I had suffered so much in the past three years before I was able to conceive this one child. 

Only because my family recognized that I would stop Linda and Drew from being together,

and they stiffed me until I miscarried. 

“But no one would believe me when it was clear that I hadn’t done anything. 

Not even noticing my discomfort, Drew forced me out of the hospital bed and dragged me 

forward. 

“You still want to threaten me with divorce? You’re not the same messenger of God you once were, and if you can’t go back to the Moon Goddess, you should adapt to the life of us ordinary werewolves, so don’t be so melodramatic!” 

I looked up at Drew nowadays, nothing like when he and I first met. 

I: 

A lot had changed. It seemed like the moments we had spent together had crumbled down. and my world seemed to be falling apart.. It seemed different this time.. 

As I recall my baseline personality, I was pampered and raised by my parents and brother since I was young, and I had had a few boyfriends who couldn’t stand my temper and ended up breaking up. 

“But Drew was different. 

He didn’t have the slightest bit of temper or arrogance that an Alpha should have, and even when I threw things around the house in a fight, he calmly cleaned it up and gathered up the pieces. 

Sometimes I would feel very guilty and ask him if he would one day stop loving me and 

leave me. 

Drew took my hand and swore solemnly. 

“Everything in this world changes, but I will always and forever love you, Shirley.” 

He didn’t know how to sweet–talk me, so he simply gave me everything he had of value and gave me all his money for safekeeping, just to give me peace of mind. 

He had sworn to the goddess of the moon on the night of the full moon that there would only be one Luna for me in this life. 

Luna’s Faked Death The Lindy’s Regret 

He reassured the goddess that he would treat me well. 

“But now, he forced me to witness his wedding to someone else. 

The wedding ceremony was packed, and I hadn’t even changed out of my hospital gown. before Drew brought me here, and there was a lot of talk among the guests. 

Werewolves are extremely focused on loyalty and vows, and very few of them will take two wives, let alone have two Luna’s at the same time. 

When Drew announced this decision, it caused an uproar in Blood Moon Pack, and countless werewolves took to the streets to oppose it. 

It was a huge mess and probably one of its own kind… 

Still, no one could shake his resolve.

Linda, wearing a gorgeous wedding dress with a victor’s smile on her face, brought two glasses of wine. 

“Sister, let’s clink glasses, we must assist the Alpha together from now on.” 

I knocked over the glass in her hand. 

“Who wants to be this Luna with you? And don’t call me sister, I’m sick of it.” 

Linda exclaimed and ducked into Drew’s arms, who looked at me through clenched teeth, 

“Shirley, that’s enough! What are you rambling about in front of all these people?” 

I looked around and laughed out softly. 

“Drew, I told you, we’re divorced, and from now on the only Luna you’ll have is Linda.” 

Drew instantly blackened his face and pushed Linda away to stand in front of me with a low scowl. His expressions seemed to be firm but arrogant as ever.. 

Where can you go after divorcing me? Don’t forget, you’re just a regular werewolf now! 

Leaving me, you can only become a lowly rouge!” 

After listening to him, I shook my head calmly, “Even if I lose my godly powers now, you don’t deserve to be my Alpha anymore. And wherever I go after taking divorce from you… it’s none of your business.” 

Drew completely lost his usual composure as an Alpha, he didn’t seem to believe so now he lowered his voice but spoke threateningly.. 

“We’re the Alpha and Luna of the pack, and you should know that a broken bond could kill us all as a result! As long as you bow your head now and apologize to Linda, considering the fact that you are still pregnant, I can pretend I didn’t hear all of what I just said.” 

Before Drew could finish his sentence, I took off the moonstone ring on my ring finger and threw it out without a second thought. 

Drew turned pale and swooped over to gather me into his arms, trying to snatch my ring. 

Unfortunately, the ring flashed brightly and had disappeared from everyone’s sight. 

“Shirley, have you gone crazy? You’re being such a pain in ass. Fine, I’ll find someone to make you a custom one and bring it back. I told you, just admit you’re wrong, and we can pretend none of this ever happened…” 

I broke away from his embrace, my fingers felt empty but free. 

“There’s no need. I, Shirley Walker, Luna of the Blood Moon, hereby reject you, Drew West.. 

as my mate and Alpha!”
