Ernest attempted to take two steps forward. His legs trembled with weakness, and after those mere steps, he was panting heavily with his tongue hanging out like an exhausted dog.
“Why? Why am I like this?” Ernest raged, unable to accept his condition. “How am Lany different from a frail old man now?”

Ernest shouted, “I don’t care! You saved me, so you’re responsible for fixing everything! How can I live if I can’t eat, drink, or even touch women?”
