I kept punching Jeremy and everyone yelled at me to stop. Cassie was screaming and begging me to stop punching Jeremy as his face was destroyed each hit landed on his face. Blood stained my knuckles yet I didn’t stop. Although I was hitting Jeremy, he only had a smirk on his face.

Just then, Patricia’s hand tapped my lap which made me turn to her before I realized that I had been imagining things. I looked back at Jeremy and he was expecting my reply concerning his stupid question. He had walked down with Cassie with his hand on her waist. She was putting on a short gown which complimented her skin and beautiful shape.

He touched her and kissed her in front of me. Titus couldn’t take the way he was holding and grabbing her. He even kissed her cheeks and forehead before he touched her lap and caressed her there. Everything he did infuriated Titus more and he pushed within me to punch the bastard until he was bleeding.

However, I couldn’t do that here. There was no way I could do such at this table, it would be overreacting and they would all know the reason I had acted so aggressively.

“Are you okay?” Patricia asked, her hand was still on my lap.

“Yes,” I answered without looking at her. My eyes were on Jeremy and I tried hard not to glare at him. I was more upset with Cassie for accepting a cheat like him back in her life. He cheated with two females yet she forgave him and even allowed him to touch her this way. Worst, she was smiling with him.

I tried not to focus on their discussions because I didn’t want my wolf to overreact until I heard them talk about pregnancy. I lifted my head and saw Jeremy smiling at Cassie and she was blushing. She really wanted to be pregnant with his child.

My wolf got furious and imagined us punching Jeremy which we couldn’t do as that would arouse suspicion because why would I be punching Jeremy? There was not a befitting explanation for that.

“What did you say, Jeremy?” I asked, resting my gaze on him.

“I was asking Cassie’s hand in marriage. Can I marry her?” He repeated, Smirking. His smirk was a little off but I didn’t think

much about it.

“No, Cassie is too young for marriage and I think she should be done with her schooling first.” I ignored his gaze staring back at my phone and sorting out all of my emails.

“Alpha, are you sure this is because of school or something else? Jeremy asked.

I was taken aback by his statement wondering what he meant and why he would ask such a question.

“What do you mean?” I asked, raising my brows.

“Nothing, I was only joking. I know that the relationship between you and Cassie is nothing but a father–and–daughter kind. Hence I understand that you want to bond with her more before releasing her to me forever”

‘Forever!‘ My wolf growled.

I looked over at Cassie and she nodded her head. She loved all of this, she was going along with it. How could she plan her future with an insecure bastard who cheated on her? I hated this so much but I couldn’t address it.

I stood and my gaze met with Jeremy who had a smirk plastered on his lips. I didn’t understand. It was as if he was daring me. I wondered what made him to be so bold and could manage to withstand our gaze.

‘He is daring us!‘ My wolf gazed at me through my eyes.

“You think he can dare us or challenge us? He won’t dare, death is not knocking at his door.”

“Do you not like your food?” Patricia asked when I stood.

“No, I just have a business to take care of.” Just then, my beta showed up, he greeted the family before we both walked to my library and meeting room.

“I left abruptly yesterday,” I started. Jim nodded while settling into the couch.

“I understand and it seems you haven’t been yourself lately. Is there something bothering you?”

“Nope, I have just been off guard. I am now back to myself now

Jim nodded before grabbing his bag and bringing out some documents. He stretched it to me before adding,

“There is an eighty percent chance this woman is your lost mother.”

Excitement coursed through me as I collected the file and started to flip through the pages. Suddenly, my beta said,

“I think your stepdaughter and her boyfriend are going on a date. They are so cute together.”

“Where did you see them?” I quickly asked, my fingers stopping on the first page of the files.

“The window.” He pointed at my floor–length window and I turned my head to see what he was talking about. Jeremy held her waist and they were both walking toward his car. Why did he have to place his hand on her waist like that?

“Do you not think that gown is too short?” I asked, looking at my beta who looked over at her again.

“I don’t think so. She is still young and they are going on a date so she needs to look good.”

I said nothing, just annoyed with the words he had said. Just because she was young didn’t mean that she needed to dress like that in a short sultry gown. I wouldn’t lie that gown made my dick stretch my trousers.

*Stop them from going to the date!‘ My wolf yelled in the inside of me. I didn’t listen to him rather I picked up the files and started to flip through the pages, clenching the pen in my hands.

The bastard might kiss her!‘ My wolf pointed out disrupting my unstable senses. I clenched the pen harder before Jim brought me out of my thoughts.

“Are you okay, Alpha?” He asked and I quickly nodded, placing the pen next to me to stop myself from breaking it.

“You are saying we are meeting this woman for a DNA test tomorrow?” I asked.

UNKNOWN P.O.V.

“I have told you that everything is under control and you have nothing to be worried about.” I dropped my cutlery and picked up the tissue next to my plate to wipe my lips.

I looked at the woman on the other side of the table eating with me, she was filled with fear of what would become our plan. She doubted we would be able to succeed.
