Nathan smiled and said. “If you like it that much then will make it for you whenever I get the chance.”

Hearing his reply Hilda blushed. Changing the subject she asked. “You were out of the country yesterday so how come you appeared at the birthday celebration?”
Hearing the birthday celebration Nathan’s gaze darkened. “Oh, I was invited by a business part
partner.
Hearing his reply Hilda’s mood was then sad. She thought he came because of her but no, he came. because of his business partner. “Okay,”
“Yeah. Hope you are done with the packing up?” Nathan asked.
“Yeah.” She replied absentmindedly.
“Okay then after breakfast let’s drive to your apartment and move the most important stuffs to my place as that’s gonna be our home now and the rest could be kept there as we will still rent the place. What do you think?”
“Huh?” Hilda asked.
“Yes. After all that’s where you stayed after you moved out of the Adam’s family residence. And moreover, your place is also my place and vice versa.” Nathan replied calmly like what he said was normal between them.

Hilda looked at him and thought. Since when did we become this close that my place is his place and vise versa? I got a lot of things too so I guess what he said makes sense after all. She then replied. “Okay”
After they were done eating, Nathan drove them to Hilda’s apartment. As Hilda was still in his shirt, she was a little shy to get down. After the car came to a halt in front of her house, she looked left and right before hurriedly getting out and walking hastily into the apartment complex.
Taking her keys from her purse, she unlocked the door and entered in a swift. Nathan who has also gotten out of the car was at a loss for words. He then walked into the apartment complex with quick strides.
Upon reaching her door, he knocked before entering. Entering he saw Hilda who had already changed her dress sitting on the sofa whiles drinking water. Seeing him she gestured for him to sit down before getting him a bottle of water. “My place isn’t that spacious like yours but it is quiet comfortable. Have a sit.”
As Nathan walked into the apartment, he quickly scanned the entire room. Although it wasn’t that big, it was spacious enough. “Thank you.”
The room was small with clean white walls, a bed, a desk with a blank blotter on it, sliding closets. opposite the bed, and a thin green shag carpet.
There was a computer which faces out of the window. Making it more like having the sky and buildings In the background.
As he was looking out of the window, a bird few buy and then a plane also in the distance. Looking to his far left was a 4,2 inch TV which was on at the moment and was displaying my daily dose of CNN.

Next to that is a Buddhist altar. To his right is a framed poster displaying a poem that of what he had seen on buses and trains. And to the far right is a black and white picture of a man model with wide beams of light gushing in through the windows.
The beams look like they are about to make the commuters levitate at any minute and float skyward. A single light burned, casting light on a chintz couch and an antique Quaker chair
Improvised kitchenette off to one side.
The furnishings were cheap, black- painted. A worn mustard–yellow bean–bag chair, a relic of the seventies was also in there. An old tape deck and a towering set of speakers whose cloth was fraying,
Taking his seat, he took the water from Hilda. Before he could take a sip his phone rang. Looking at the caller ID, Nathan frowned before answering. “Okay, I will be there.”
With that Nathan stood up hurriedly, place the water on the table before speaking hurriedly. “Pumpkin, something came up that I need to take care of. Just get all your stuffs ready I will come back and get you later.”
Looking at him who was already walking away as soon as he came, she suddenly felt sad as she watched him leave. But after thinking about how he reacted after receiving the call, Hilda understood that maybe something important really came up.
With that Nathan hurriedly walked out of the apartment towards his car speeding off.
At this time, the men sent by Michael have also arrived at Hilda’s apartment complex.
Hilda who was still sitting on the sofa suddenly heard a knock on her door. Thinking that it was Nathan who had probably left something, she hurriedly went to get the door with a smile on her face. “Did you forget…”
When she opened the door, she noticed that it wasn’t Nathan but three burly men. Staring at them, Who are you guys? What do you want?”
“The Matriarch asked us to get you.” One of the burly men answered.
H
“The Matriarch? Why would my grandmother send you to come and get me?” Feeling suspicious Hilda asked rather puzzled.
Without bothering to answer her question, one of the burly men asked. “Are you going to come with us or do you want us to make you?
Noticing that they were serious Hilda then said “Let me make a call.” Closing the door on them she entered her room and took her phone. Turning it on she noticed she was low on battery as the phone was off.
She then placed it on charge and turned it only to be greeted with a numerous missed calls and messages. Most of them were from Carmen and Daniel
Reading the messages, she then recalled what happened the night before. Although she and Nathan didn’t talk about it, it didn’t mean she had forgotten about what she did to Mr. Rex.
She got up and changed her dress, applied a little bit of makeup as she was still in Nathan’s shirt then

walked out to go with the burly men who were already Impatient after waiting for some time.
Walking out of her room, she coldly said. “Let’s go!”
Clemons Hospital.
At this time in the hospital, Nathan rushed in as soon as he parked his car.
In the hospital’s VVIP corridor, some members from the Clemon family were all standing whiles others were pacing up and down on the corridor. When Nathan entered he turned to his dad and asked. “Dad, what happened?”
“It turn out he was sick and had a disease. I had returned from a walk with your mom and found your grandfather lying in bed but his limbs felt leaden, as if they were made of sand. He lay on the bed, trying to persuade himself to walk across the room to get a glass of cold water from the bedside.
That was when I rushed him to the hospital as soon as can. He has been in the ICU since we came and the doctors haven’t said anything.”
After hearing what his dad said, Nathan’s face was expressionless. He had a deadpan face so no one knew how he was feeling. As he had been long numbed to all feeling because of all that he had been through since young, no one knew how he felt.
After an hour later, the light in front of the ICU went off and the doctor came out. The family rushed to him. Nathan’s dad Mr. Damian Clemon was the one who spoke up. “How is he?”
