“Aunt, you shouldn’t be polite. How is grandpa though?” Gloria said rather shyly.
Hearing her question, Mrs. Leah Clemons sighed. “As you can see. He is unconscious now. We are all hoping for him to open his eyes in the next forty eight hours or else…” Mrs. Leah didn’t continue her sentence.
Mr. Damian Clemon also added. “Dad would be fine so you shouldn’t worry.”
“I sincerely hope he does or I wouldn’t know how Nathan would feel.” At that, she then spoke up again as if she had just remembered something. “Aunt, where is Nathan?”
“Nathan left for home last night. I think he should be on his way here now.” Mrs. Leah Clemons replied.
“Okay then. I would wait for him here then. Aunt why don’t you take this time and leave for home. I would keep grandpa company. You can go rest for a while. I would be here.” Gloria then said sweetly.
Mr. and Mrs. Clemon looked at Gloria with gaze which showed how fond they were of her.
Mrs. Clemons then though. What an adorable child. If it wasn’t what happened that year like she would be my daughter in law by now and would be calling me mom. She then sighed.
Mr. Clemons also though. What a sweet and nice girl. She really deserves Nathan. With her family background, she and Nathan would have achieve greater heights and nothing could come in Nathan’s way but that accident….
With that thought in mind, Mr. Clemon’s gaze darkened. Who would have thought that someone would hate them soo much to do that.
“Alright my dear. I would go get some rest now. But first let me call Nathan so he comes faster then since you are going to be here all by yourself.” With that Mrs. Nathan called Nathan.
At the same time in Nathan’s residence, they were already done with breakfast and Hilda was about to leave for work. “Nathan I’m going to leave for work now. I would see you later.”
Nathan raised his eyebrows and stared at her. “How are you going to get to work from here?”
“I would walk to the junction and hail a cab.” She replied.
Nathan then smiled and said. “I’m not sure you would get any cab around here. My residence is quiet a distance from the main junction. Why don’t you wait and let me drop your off at work?”
Huh? He wants to drop me? What would others say when they see me getting out of Nathan Clemons car?
“No, No, it’s fine. I will just call a taxi then.” Hilda refused immediately.
Nathan frowned as she refused his kind gesture. Every woman would love to be in the same car as me even if it was just for just some few minutes but why is she always rejecting me? “Can you drive?”
“Huh?” Hilda was surprised at his sudden question.
“Can you drive?” Nathan then asked again.
“Of course I can drive. When I was in the states, it was quiet a distance from my school to my apartment so I learned how to drive to save me from the trouble of having to hail a taxi every time to and from school.” Hilda said excitingly.
Looking at her who was full of smiles as she spoke, Nathan couldn’t help but smile too which loosened the wrinkles on hits face when he frowned. “The garage is at the far left so you can go pick any car you want the keys are already inserted.

“Really?” Hilda looked at him eagerly as she thought he was kidding.
“Of course. Do I look like I’m kidding?” Nathan was amused by the way she was looking at him eagerly waiting for his response.
Hilda then walked towards the garage with Nathan following behind her. At the same time his phone rang. Reaching into his pocket, he took his phone only to notice it was his mom.
With a gentle tone he answered. “Mom..”
“My son, where are you? Are you going to come to the hospital?” Mrs. Leah Clemon asked. She knew her son had a lot to do at the office so she wouldn’t force him if he couldn’t make it today. After all he and Gloria grew up together and had known each other since childhood.
It wouldn’t be a problem if they don’t get to see each other today. They still have a long way to go as Gloria is already betrothed to Nathan as his bride.
“Yes mom, I would be there soon.”
“Okay. Take care son.” With that Mrs. Leah Clemons hanged up the call.
Gloria was eagerly waiting to hear what Nathan’s reply was as she stared at her Aunt. “Aunt, what did Nathan say? Is he going to make it?”
“Yes my dear. He said he would be here soon.”
Gloria then smiled shyly and thought to herself. It has been a year since I last saw him. I have to make sure he marries me this time around. Nathan can only be mine.
In the garage, Hilda had her mouth wide opened as her jaw nearly dropped down the floor. Like what the hell? There was Ferrari, a Lotus, a Lamborghini, a Rolls–Royce, Maserati, a Maybach, a Mercedes and a Porsche. All of the latest model.
The cheapest car in the garage was the Ferrari and Maybach Where as Nathan would be using the Maybach so she was left with no choice but to go for the sports car.
Turning around, she looked at Nathan. “Mr. N- Nathan, this?”
Nathan was amused but yet his gaze darkened. “Why do you keep calling me formally? Call me by just Nathan or hubby.”
Hilda then lowered her head. He wants me to call him hubby? The name even sounds some way. Eww, he wants me to call him coquettely. “Mr. N.. Erm Nathan. The cars are all too expensive. You sure you want me to drive it out?” Hilda asked shyly
Nathan laughed at how shyly she called him. “Yeah. I don’t even drive them all anyway.”
“Okay.” With that, Hilda walked to the Ferrari and opened it. She gasped at what she saw.
The car’s suspension has double wishbones at the front and a multi–link setup at the rear, coupled with E–Diff and Fi–Trac traction control systems.
The brakes include a prefill function whereby the pistons in the calipers move the pads into contact with the discs.
The interior color was black whiles the exterior was just like it’s owner. Actually, the car didn’t belong to Nathan. It belongs to Samuel but he lost it in a bet to Nathan which was why it was in his garage at that time.
Looking at Hilda who was still fawning over the car Nathan couldn’t help but frown. She never looks at me like that but look at how she is looking at the car. “A’int you going to leave for work? You are getting late.”

With that Hilda came back her senses. “Oh yeah.”
With that she was about to take her seat when Nathan suddenly blurted. “Are you going to leave like that?”
Huh? Hilda was stunned. Leave like that? Like why? She then unconsciously looked at her dress and then the car. Then she looked back at Nathan confused. “Why what’s wrong?”
“Ain’t you going to give me a goodbye kiss?” Nathan then said.
Hilda then stare shyly at Nathan. He wants me to give him a goodbye kiss? Arghh.
