Chapter 31

Hilda held onto the edge of her dress unconsciously. He wants me to kiss him. But….

Hilda then placed her bag in the passenger seat of her new car then walked meekly towards Nathan with her head held low.

She stopped right in front of Nathan and stared at him before retracting her gaze. “Close your eyes.” She then said in a low voice.

Amused at her actions, Nathan stared into her eyes. Hilda blushed when she noticed how Nathan was staring at her. She immediately turned around with her face red. “Cl–close your eyes Nathan.” She repeated herself this time stuttering.

Nathan looked at her every reaction then smiled. “My eyes are closed.”

Hilda then turned around and looked at him. She was caught in a daze when she looked at him who had his eyes closed. ‘Oh God! Nathan truly lives to the prince charming of every girl. Awwwn, he is too handsome.”

She was too much in a daze that she didn’t notice that the man had his eyes opened and was currently staring at her too. ‘She is really the same even after so many years. She is simply gorgeous.‘ After a while, he snapped back to reality but noticed that Hilda was still staring at him and smiling foolishly.

“What is she thinking about? Or she is too captivated by my looks that she is day- dreaming.‘ Thinking about it, Nathan then held her by the waist and pulled her close to him then kissed her forehead. “Like what you see?”

Hilda then snapped out of her daze. She then took a few steps backs. “Huh? I was just.. just”

Nathan then smiled. “Okay, okay. How about you kiss me and then hurry up to work as it is already getting late.”

He also had to pass by the hospital first before going to the company so he was in a little bit of a rush as he had at meeting to hold too.

Hilda didn’t know how to react. “Erm..” She stood on tiptoes and pouted her lips.

Nathan looked at the lips which were waiting for his and gulped. He then closed the gaps between them. Immediately their lips touched, Hilda pulled away and run towards the car. “Goodbye. I would see you later.”

Nathan was perplexed. Like his lips barely touched hers and Hilda just pulled away. He stared at her who entered the Ferrari and sighed. “Take care. You would need a pass when coming back in so use your finger print when you get to the main entrance. I would save it here.”

With that Hilda moved out of Nathan’s residence in the Ferrari,

Nathan watched her car move out till it was out of sight and also walked towards the Maybach.

The bodyguard in the passenger seat immediately got down and opened the back door for Nathan after which he also sat back down and moved out of his residence.

Inside the car, Stanley was driving while the other bodyguard had been asked to follow Hilda and make sure no harm befalls her.

“Where are we headed Boss?” Stanley asked after they drove out of Nathan’s residence.

“Head for the hospital.” Nathan who was in the back seat was already engrossed in work. Without looking at Stanley, he replied indifferently.

Hilda drove steadily on the streets as she hadn’t driven a sports car before. She gasps at the thought of her driving a sport car but yet again she didn’t think much about it and focused mainly on the road.

Chapter 31

After half an hour, she pulled up in the company’s parking lot. When her co–workers saw the sports car pulling over, they were all astonished. They all thought, which big shot is visiting the company today?

Eagerly waiting to see the man who just drove the latest model of the Ferrari to work, they all stood there eagerly but to their surprise, a lady’s heels was seen stepping on the ground as soon as the car door was opened.

‘Oh my God, it is driven by a woman. This woman must be someone influential.‘ Some thought whiles others wanted to meet the woman and strike a conversation with her.

To their outmost surprise, Hilda walked out from the Ferrari. They were all shocked. She was in a tailor made linen dress which fitted her petite figure perfectly making her look gorgeous.

They started murmuring among themselves. “Isn’t that Hilda from the Adams family.”

“Yes she is.”

“Why is she driving a Ferrari all of a sudden?” They all had strange expressions on their faces when they walking towards the company building.

At the same time, Carmen who had come with Daniel to work that day also noticed Hilda get out of the Ferrari. A gaze immediately turned icy as she thought. “How come Hilda drove a sports car today, did Mr. Rex get that for her?”

As that thought run through her mind, she was filled with hatred. How come Hilda always has the good stuffs. She turned to look at Daniel who was already captivated by Hilda’s look and was looking at her with gaze full of affection.

Noticing the look in Daniel’s eyes, she bite her lips and pouted helplessly. “Daniel, did you just see that? Hilda came to work in a sports car today. And it happens to be the new model too. You know she just came back from abroad and doesn’t have enough money on her. So how did she get it? Or Mr. Rex bought it for her after she accompanied him for the night?”

Daniel’s gaze darkened immediately she heard what Carmen said. It could be true as Hilda can never buy a sports car at this time and a new model as such. Not forgetting she got it right after she accompanied Mr. Rex for a night.

Is that the kind of woman she was all this while? She acted all cute and innocent with me but she was able to let Mr. Rex buy her a sports car after she accompanied him for a night.

Thinking about this, Daniel felt repulsed by her. She never even allowed me to go as far as kissing. Seeing Daniel’s expression, Carmen became gleeful inwardly and then added. “I knew Hilda always wanted a sports car but I didn’t know she was willing to get it after accompanying Mr. Rex for a night. I guess she brought it here purposes. to impress you. She wants you back.” She then sighed.

Daniel turned to look at her and said sweetly. “Don’t worry Carmen. She would never even get my attention with that. I love you just you and nothing would come between us.” With that said, he held her and kissed her lips. before he added sweetly. “I love you Carmen.”

“Awwn Daniel, you making me blush. I love you much more too.” Carmen replied shyly.

“You have to get going now Daniel. I would be going back home now. Don’t forget we shopping tonight. Take care. “Carmen added and then blew a kiss to Daniel before hopping into her car to drive away.

Daniel watched Carmen’s car move out of the parking lot before heading into the company with a furious expression. Who did Hilda think she is. She accompanied Mr. Rex for a night and here she is trying to impress me. If it is a Ferrari she wants before she spends a night with me, I am more than willing to
