Gloria nodded. “Okay.” Although she wasn’t that close to Carmen, Carmen was the model under her company so she can’t watch her shop with her face swollen like that.”
She then added. “I would be in the country for some time so we can have a hang out whenever.”
With that said, they both walked out of the mall.
Hilda drove Naima to her house as they chit chat on the way. When Naima got down and was about to walk into her house, Hilda called her back and with a serious expression on she said. “Don’t tell anyone about my marriage. It is confidential.”
Naima then joke. “I have already sold your secret to a journalist. Be sure to read the news as everyone will come to know by tomorrow morning that you are Mrs. Clemon.”
Hilda rolled her eyes at her.
“Hey, Hey wait. Does Sonnia know about it?” Naima hurriedly asked.
“Not yet. But I plan on telling her soon.”
“I’m the first to know then hahaha…” Naima laughed and turned to walk into her house. “Bye babes.”
With that Hilda drove away.
At Nathian’s Residence, Hilda parked her car in the garage as she hummed a song as she walked into the house. Since it was still early, she knew Nathan wouldn’t be back later.
She sang and hummed but immediately she walked into the hall, she saw Nathan sitting on the couch casually as he watched a news on the TV.

“One
of the ladies who was alleged to have attacked Miss Carmen is none other than her sister Miss Hilda Adams who had once caused a ruckus at her sister’s engagement ceremony earlier this year. The reporter then went on to add. “Her fans think Miss Hilda should be put behind bars and taught a few lessons so the next time she wouldn’t attack her sister anymore as she has taken upon herself to cause trouble for her on the regular….”
Hilda froze after she heard the report. A bitter smile appeared on her lips as she stared at Nathan who was looking at her at this time.
He then beckoned Hilda with his hands. “Come here Pumplan.”
Hilda took slow steps towards him as she thought he was going to scold her but to her surprise he didn’t even ask anything relating to the news rather he stared at her loving
“How was your day today?” Nathan asked.
“It was okay but I.. I quit my job and went out with my friend.” Hilda stuttered.
Nathan nodded calmly. “Okay. What are we having for dinner tonight?”
Huh? Isn’t he going to ask me what happened at the fashion shop today? “I have already had my fill earlier. I am full. I would just take some cereals what about you?”
“Oh? You ate without bringing some back to me?”
“Erm, I didn’t know what you would like so..
“I like anything you would get me. How about you accompany me out to eat later since you are already full. You can take your cereals then.”
Hilda didn’t understand Nathan but since he was trying his best to make this work, why don’t I just also go with the flow. With that in mind, Hilda replied. “Okay. I would go take my shower now.”

Carmen was busy smashing anything she could come into contact with. “How dare that girl. Who did she think she is? Just because she licks my sister’s shoes she thought she could mess with me. Dream on! Arggh”
