Chapter 39
Nathan’s growl made her lose courage to continue with wriggling out of his arms. He sounded kind of pissed.
That worked. Nathan thought.
When they got to the cinema, he placed her down and looked around. ‘No bad‘ he thought.
He then turned to her. “Pumpkin, what do you want to see? Or is there any new movie out you really want to see?”
Hilda shook her head as she looked around the cinema. “No not really but look.” She pointed at a random movie flyer plastered on the cinema wall before continuing. “Let’s try that.”
It was a action romance movie with the title. The CEO’s Bride which featured Christopher Anderson. As an award winning actor, Christopher had a large fan base and any of the movies he shoots in becomes a hit.
At the moment, The CEO’S Bride was a new movie he featured in which was released on that same day.
Hilda who was a great fan of his immediately pointed out at the movie randomly.
Nathan stared at the cast and was amused. Turns out it is you. He thought.
Agreeing on the movie, Nathan asked. “Are you a fan of him?” He pointed at Christopher who was plastered everywhere in the cinema.
“Of course. Who doesn’t like Christopher? I am a big fan of his. I loved all his movies. He is really cute whether acting as a college student, a soldier, or the bad guy… I love everything about him.” Hilda said enthusiastically.
Nathan’s expression turned grim as he listened to Hilda showering compliments on his good friend.
As they were from the restaurant, Hilda was dressed in a light blue off shoulder dress with Nathan’s coat draped on her shoulders with a three inch heels.
Nathan was also in a custom made white shirt and grey trousers with his black shoe as they entered the cinema.
As soon
as they entered, all eyes turned and stared at them As Hilda looked petite and walked beside Nathan who looked like a male model, all the ladies in the hall had their eyes glued on him.
Some thought, Oh my God, what a lovely couple.
Whiles others thought, Oh my God, he looks handsome. They all thought. As Hilda saw the stares from the ladies she sighed. As expected from someone as handsome as him
As they arrived just in time, they had twenty minutes before the movie would begin. So they calmly walked to join the queue to get a ticket.
“You know you are really impressive with your looks. Look at how all the ladies are staring at you.
“I don’t care about them looking at me. If it is up to me, I would want only you to stare.” Nathan said calmly.
Hilda was at a loss of words after hearing him. She pinched his hand in her palm as her face grew red from blushing.
She never thought that the aloof CEO who always had a cold and indifferent face was also good at sweet talking. Who would have expected the aloof CEO to be this honey tongued?”
“I am not honey tongued. All I say are facts..”
Hilda was once again at a loss.

When it got to their turn to get the tickets after waiting for a while, Nathan stared at the machine and frown. He didn’t know what to do.
Hilda stared at him and shook her head when she saw his hesitant expression. She took her card and entered it in the machine after which the tickets came out then she took it out and pulled Nathan by the hand and walked towards the hall.
Nathan who had never been at to a cinema before was at a loss.
As they were walking in to take their seat, Hilda giggled. “Who would have thought that the almighty CEO didn’t know how to operate a ticket machine?”
Nathan’s expression turned grim. He knew for sure that he was at a lost at that time. “I barely come to a cinema you know.”
Hilda acted like she didn’t know. “Oh?” She knew for sure that he was embarrassed but was putting up a front.” The machine was produced by the Clemons Group too.” She countered.
Nathan stopped and stared at her.
Hilda’s heart started beating real fast. What did I say wrong again this time she thought.
“Popcom?” Nathan asked changing the subject.
“Yes, yes.” She nodded before breathing out in relief.
Nathan then proceeded to get two bags of popcorn. As they were walking into the cinema hall, a manager suddenly hurried over to them.
He bowed at Nathan. “Mr. Clemon, Welcome. Your hall is this way Please.” He gestured with his hand for them to
follow him.
It turns out that after Hilda chose the movie, Nathan called Stanley and asked him to prepare a whole cinema hall for just them. As the cinema was also under the Clemons Group, the manager hurriedly cleared one hall for them.
After entering, the manager turned to leave. With a smile plastered on his face he said. “Mr. Clemon, if there is anything you need, just press the bell and I would be quick to attend to you.”
With the popcorn in his Nathan didn’t spare the manager even a single glance but just nodded at him and followed Hilda who was busy looking for a good seat. After finding a comfortable seat some where in the middle, she sat down and Nathan sat right next to her.
She looked around and didn’t see anyone so she turned and faced Nathan. “You ordered this hall for just us?”
“Hmm.” Nathan nodded calmly.
Hilda rolled her eyes at him. “Where is the fun when we are watching it alone?” She asked.
“Who said you are watching it alone? I am here. Aren’t I?”
Hilda was speechless.
Nathan then added sweetly.” It is our first formal date after being married so I wanted us to have fun all by our self. What do you think?”
Hilda blushed. “This things are only done by couples who are dating. We are already married you know.”
“Yes we are already married. But I didn’t get to do all that with you before our marriage so as of now, we would start ours.”

Hilda’s face was turning red from blushing but since the hall was dark, Nathan didn’t notice it.
When Hilda didn’t say anything he held her hand and continued. “Pumpkin, we didn’t get to do what couples do before marriage but we will do it now that we are married. I wouldn’t be a problem with you right?”
Hilda nodded after listening to his deep sweet melodious voice.
She looked at him as she recalled Daniel. She once asked him for them to go out on a cinema date but Daniel shook his head. He said, “Hilda, the cinema isn’t a thing for me. You know that I’m the heir to the Stephenson Group. It would be a shame for me to go to a cinema to watch a movie”
It’s such a shame Hilda thought. The heir to a mere billions couldn’t come to the cinema and here is a man whose net worth is more than trillions sitting right here in the cinema with me.
I was a fool to have fallen for such a jerk.
She held his hand back and said. “But you are always busy at work. Won’t it get to conflict your work?”
“My work is nothing in comparison to you. You are my wife of course I need to be there when ever you need me.” Nathan said seriously.
“But…” Hilda wanted to say something but Nathan cut her off.
“The movie is about to start didn’t you say you are a fan of his, let’s watch.”
With that said, they turned to look on the screen.
