“Mr. Ellison, Andrew has been sent to the hospital for a stomach pump.”

David responded with a nonchalant hum and hung up the phone.
From the moment Andrew joined Ellison Group, David had kept him under constant surveillance. Every move Andrew made was within David’s watchful eye.
-David had noticed the trick with adding alcohol to the skincare products long ago. He simply chose to turn
a blind eye.
After all, it didn’t harm Ellison Group in any meaningful way, and David had no reason to step in to help
Caroline.
That woman needed to suffer a bit, to endure some hardship and have her sharp edges smoothed down.
Other than the dozen employees affected by the alcohol–laced lotion, everyone else using the product reported no adverse reactions. In fact, their skin appeared healthy and radiant. This was proof enough for David.
The Caroz skincare line had no inherent issues. That was all that mattered to him.
As for Andrew, daring to pull such petty tricks under David’s nose? Naturally, he had to face consequences.
Andrew had secretly spiked the skincare products with alcohol, so David ordered someone to replace the water in Andrew’s cup with high–concentration alcohol. One sip was enough to send Andrew straight to the hospital for a stomach pump.
In the lab, Caroline quickly completed the analysis, confirming what she had suspected.
“It’s the high concentration of alcohol that caused the reactions,” she said. “Someone’s trying to sabotage us

Caroline asked, “Mr. Boris, did you send Anna away because you wanted to speak with me privately?”

“Andrew,” she answered without hesitation.
“That’s correct,” Boris confirmed with a nod. “David is fully aware as well, but this matter is neither too big nor too small, so there’s no need to make a scene. You… might have to bear some grievances.”
“It’s fine,” Caroline replied calmly.
Isn’t I used to it by now? One more grievance didn’t matter.
Boris seemed surprised by her composure. “You’re just going to swallow this quietly?”
