Samantha softened her voice, speaking as if she truly cared. “How about it? If you’re scared, I will go with you to the hospital. Medical technology is so advanced how–it’s just a minor procedure, completely painless. Afterward, you can rest at home, recover properly, and everything will go back to normal.”
Caroline stared at her, eyes filled with suspicion and wariness.

So if they were this desperate to make her abort the baby, there had to be a deeper reason.

Samantha immediately countered, “The Ellison family is an incredible match! Do you know how many people would kill for this marriage?”
