David fluctuated between clarity and control, unable to maintain either for long.

At one moment, he was certain the woman behind him was not Caroline. Then, in the next breath, he felt an overwhelming urge to take her, regardless of the consequences.
His head was on the verge of splitting!
“D*mn it!” David muttered through clenched teeth.
Elizabeth was relentless, trying to drag him fully into the haze of the drug’s effect, preventing him from maintaining his grasp on reality.
She leaned in, attempting to kiss his lips. “Come on, I’ll be obedient, I’ll do whatever you want… You can tell me the name you want me to call you.”
Yet. David turned his head away
The next second, she was forcefully shoved back.
“Ah! Elizabeth screamed as she tumbled onto the bed, nearly falling off it.
She scrambled to sit up and looked up, only to find David standing, towering over her, his gaze fixed upon her from above.
That look sent a shiver down Elizabeth’s spine!
His eyes were bloodshot, veins coursing through them
“You’re not Caroline… You’re not!” His fists clenched at his sides. “She would never be this compliant. She would fight me at every turn. How could she willingly offer herself to me?”
David’s voice reverberated through the room.
But his body wavered, struggling to stay upright, his vision unfocused.
Within seconds, his knee buckled, and he sank to the floor, kneeling on the carpet.
The fire within him still raged.
But now, reason began to take controll
David would never touch another woman so recklessly Never!
Elizabeth wouldn’t let her plan slip away. She raised her voice. “I am Caroline. You want me, so don’t hold back… Otherwise, your body will fail, and you won’t be able to withstand it!”
She tried to rush toward him.
“Stop! Don’t come any closer!” David snapped, his eyes narrowing. “Get out!”
“Mr. Ellison!”

David’s body felt foreign, as though something was horribly wrong. He knew, without a doubt, that he had been drugged.
Otherwise, the room wouldn’t be spinning, his vision wouldn’t be distorted, and his body wouldn’t be burning with a feverish intensity, demanding the presence of a woman.
These symptoms made it crystal clear that he had been drugged.
When did it happen? Was it during dinner? Or the drink I had after entering the room?
There was no time for second–guessing. David knew he had to leave, and quickly.
He pushed himself to his feet again, spun around, but the dizziness overwhelmed him, and with a thud, he collapsed to his knees, his hands bracing the ground.
“Mr. Ellison, you must feel terrible,” Elizabeth said, standing at the foot of the bed, her voice dripping with mock sympathy. “Don’t hold back. Only a woman can cure this drug. If you don’t release it, your body will break down, and that would be a waste!”
“Get out. I said, get out!”
“Mr. Ellison, do you really need Caroline?”
Without hesitation, David answered, “Yes!”
A sharp pang of pain pierced Elizabeth’s chest, but it was quickly replaced by bitterness and jealousy, her face twisting in fury.
Mr. Ellison really loves Caroline. Even now, all he thinks about is her, all he wants is her. Fine. Tonight, I’ll become Mr. Ellison’s woman. I refuse to believe he can’t resist the drug’s power!
