“When the time comes, Mom, we’ll stage a fake miscarriage and pin the blame on Caroline. We’ll say she was jealous and deliberately caused me to lose the baby. “Mom, say something.” Elizabeth urged impatiently. “I do want to have Mr. Ellison’s child, but it’s not that

“Elizabeth, having his child means you have something to protect yourself with. It’s the only way to secure your place by Mr. Ellison’s side. Your idea about the fake miscarriage could work, but I don’t think it’s the best option.”
The two locked eyes.
Just as the silence stretched between them, the door to the hospital room suddenly burst open.
Andrew strode inside.
“You… it’s you?” Elizabeth’s expression changed. “What are you doing here?”
Samantha was equally stunned. “Mr. Andrew?”
Andrew smirked darkly. “Not only am I here, but I’ve been standing outside… listening for a long time.”
The moment he said this, Elizabeth and Samantha’s faces went pale.
Disaster! He has heard everything! What are we supposed to do now?
Panic filled the air. Even Samantha was at a loss, frozen in place, unable to react.
“I heard every single word,” Andrew said, his voice dripping with amusement. “You two have some nerve. The Ellison family is one of the most powerful and influential families, and yet you dare to deceive David like this… You must have a death wish. David married Caroline–your adopted daughter. And now, your biological daughter Elizabeth is scheming to seduce him, pretending to be pregnant just to trap him. And on top of that, you’re planning to fake a miscarriage? If this gets out, you two…”
“Mr. Andrew!” Samantha cut him off in a panic. “You–you mustn’t say such things.”
“Oh? Am I making things up?” Andrew sneered. “I recorded everything. If I hand this recording over to David, you’ll both be finished.”
With that, he turned to leave.
Samantha quickly moved to block his way.
Elizabeth also scrambled out of bed. “Mr. Andrew, let’s talk this through… Don’t be so impulsive. Take a deep breath and calm down.”
She clung to Andrew’s arm, forcing out a laugh as she spoke in a sweet tone. “Why don’t you sit down and have some tea before you go? Relax. We’ve known each other for years, haven’t we? Let’s have a nice chat and catch up.”

She tugged him onto the sofa, pressing herself close as she sat beside him.

“There’s no need to be so worked up.” she said, gently stroking his chest. “David isn’t even your real brother. What do you get out of protecting him? Besides, don’t forget–it was him who personally sent your mother to prison.”
Andrew said nothing, but his eyes flickered, thoughts clearly racing through his mind.
Samantha noticed immediately.
A plan formed in her mind–a perfect plan.
“Mr. Andrew,” she said smoothly, “I have an idea. Would you be interested in working together?”
Andrew narrowed his eyes. “Work together?”
“That’s right.” Samantha nodded. “Elizabeth wants to become the future David’s wife, to give birth to the Ellison heir, and rise to the top.”
