In a way, Raymond was definitely impressive–he’d managed to bring Yolanda, Harriet, and Quinlyn together. Little did he know the tension brewing among the three, he even cheerfully asked them to sit closely.
“Nice, all beauties! Let me take a picture of you all together,” he said and snapped a photo of the three of them without hesitation.
At that moment, the director approached, looking for Raymond to appear on camera and help calm the growing buzz online. So, Raymond had to step away for a while.
“You all enjoy yourselves for now,” he said. Then he turned to Yolanda, pointing at Quinlyn. “I think she’s a good fit for the new film. Have a look at her for me.”
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving the three of them by the lounge chair with expressionless faces.
Quinlyn was okay; aside from being speechless, she quickly adapted. As for Harriet and Yolanda, they jumped away from her as if she were a dangerous snake.
“I’m telling you, I’ll never let him choose you as his partner. Just give up.” Yolanda warned in a low voice.
Quinlyn grabbed a glass of juice, feeling parched from all the talking earlier. I’m not interested in acting,” she said bluntly.
Yolanda chuckled skeptically and moved closer. “I’ve heard about you. You’re not connected to the Hill family or any wealthy relatives–just a little orphan.
“Whether you’re charming or cunning, getting this far shows skill. But don’t think you can use Raymond as a stepping stone. He’s mine. If you touch him in any way, I won’t let you off.”
Quinlyn looked up, meeting Yolanda’s determined gaze. This spiteful woman seemingly has special feelings for Raymond. Anyway, that has nothing to do with me, she thought.
As Quinlyn lowered her eyes and stayed quiet, Yolanda felt a sense of relief. She adjusted her skirt and gracefully stood up. “Harriet, wait here. I’ll call for you in a moment.”
Watching Yolanda leave, Harriet suddenly felt her breath catch. It was as if the air had thinned, making her increasingly
restless

After Harriet had hurt Tina that day, she rushed back to the Anderson residence, found Maurice, and blamed Quinlyn for everything. Maurice had been furious, but instead of comforting Quinlyn, he slapped Harriet, accusing her of being useless.
At that moment, Harriet realized with despair that the Anderson family was no longer home for her. So, she ran back to the orphanage.
Quinlyn knew where she had gone. Although Stanley had been angry enough to call the police, Tina stopped him, allowing Harriet to fend for herself. Stanley was completely disappointed in Tina, left some money for medical bills, and walked
away.
For Stanley, this was a good thing. So. Quinlyn hadn’t got involved and didn’t care to comment
The quieter Quinlyn was, the more restless and panicked Harriet became. Finally, unable to hold back, Harriet jumped up, clenching her fists, and declared, “I won’t lose to you, Quinlyn. Even if you expose me, Yolanda won’t like you or abandon
me
“I never intended to compete with you” Quinlyn took a sip of her juice and looked up at Harriet, puzzled. Fro finish, she simply wasn’t sure where Harriet’s hostility was coming from
Harriet froze, feeling deeply embarrassed inside. By now, she could tell that Quinlyn never really considered her a rival–it was all in Harriet’s head. The harder she tried, the more she looked like a fool.

Harriet couldn’t tolerate it any longer. “Stop pretending. If you don’t want to move up the ladder, then why hang out with Mandy, and why get close to Raymond?”
Quinlyn paused for a moment before replying innocently, “They’re the ones who approached me first” She never made the
first move.
Harriet felt even more frustrated. The truth hit her like a punch in the gut. Just as she was about to lose her temper, she heard Yolanda calling for her from a distance.
Before Harriet left. Quinlyn suddenly turned to her and said, “That woman isn’t a good person”
Harriet stopped in her tracks, realizing Quinlyn was talking about Yolanda. She scrunched her nose and scoffed, “If someone likes you, they’re good; if they don’t, they’re bad, huh? Quinlyn, do you think you’re a fortune teller! That’s ridiculous.”
With that, she confidently strode away toward Yolanda.
Quinlyn frowned slightly as she watched Yolanda in a long dress bathed in sunlight. Being closer just moments ago, she had noticed Yolanda’s expression–fierce and venomous, a look she’d seen from a criminal at the borderlands.
But remembering what happened to Cecilia, Quinlyn understood the entertainment industry was complicated. She couldn’t judge someone based on just that, which was why she had warned Harriet.
As Harriet appeared on camera, many of the kids recognized her and started chatting excitedly. After all, they had been classmates for years, and childhood squabbles were easily forgotten. Any past unhappiness faded with their reunion.
“Wow, Harriet was actually a student at Mankdon International School. No wonder she’s so smart,” Yolanda exclaimed.
She just discovered the prestigious background of Harriet, who she had casually adopted. She quickly praised Harriet on camera and nudged her toward Raymond, eager to win his favor through Harriet.
However, after a few rounds of games, Raymond was constantly being monopolized by Mandy, leaving Yolanda fuming on the sidelines
Once the cameras were off, Yolanda pulled Harriet aside, her expression serious. “In the second half, focus on Mandy. Do whatever it takes to get her out of the picture. I don’t like Quinlyn, and I don’t want her getting any advantages from hanging around Mandy. Got it?”
Harriet felt confused–Yolanda seemed to know a lot about Quinlyn. “But if I do something bad on camera, people will definitely criticize me,” Harriet replied. She wasn’t naive; she understood how powerful social media could be.
Yolanda’s impatience grew. She frowned and said, “Then figure out a way to make Quinlyn embarrass herself or get criticized. If you want to be my daughter, you need to step it up”
Fearing being sent back to the orphanage, Harriet nodded quickly. “I know what to do.”
“Good girl.” Yolanda finally smiled. Catching the sight of Raymond approaching, she lovingly patted Harriet’s head. Yet, the words she said were venomous. “I can tell you don’t like Quinlyn either. To me, you’re better than her.
“She just knows how to sweet–talk rich people. First, it was the Hill family, now it’s the James family, and she’s got her sights set on Raymond too. If you cut off her support, she’ll be nothing.”
Harriet saw the malice in Yolanda’s eyes and suddenly remembered Quinlyn’s warning, sending a chill down her spine. But she quickly steadied herself, her desire for a wealthy lifestyle outweighed her better judgment, and she stood firmly with
Yolanda
Soon, the break was over, and the stars and kids began preparing to paint. The theme was sunsets.

Mandly hard just need one were print when a figure wuddenly bumped into her, sending the entire tray of paint flying.
“My paint! Mandy, why did you new this up? Harriet soured
Her voice snapped Mandy out of her trance. She looked up at Harriet, whose eyes were brimming with tears, totally
