The red roses were vibrant and fully bloomed, with droplets of water on their petals. “This is for you” Quinlyn handed the flowers to Quinton.
Quinton accepted them, still looking a bit confused.
Janet, who was being guided by the nurse, turned around excitedly. “Wow, such beautiful flowers! Quinton, aren’t they even prettier than the red stickers?”
Seeing her raised hand with the red cartoon sticker given by his classmate, Quinton immediately understood. He moved forward and placed the bouquet in her arms. “Mom, once you get better, I’ll buy you real nail polish
Janet held the flowers dearly, nodded, and lovingly patted Quinton’s head, saying, “Okay, Mom will wait for you. This time, she got into the car happily without needing the nurse’s help,
As the car door closed, Quinlyn saw sunlight shining on Janet’s profile and the bouquet of roses, and then turned to look at Quinton. He was smiling too. It was wonderful.
The three teenagers who watched the scene also gave genuine smiles.
With the amusement park still open, Quinlyn eagerly suggested going back to ride the carousel a few more times.
“Sure, let’s all go together. We’ll ride with you!” Having resolved a family problem, the boys were in high spirits, and feeling a bit adventurous, they jumped in the car to leave.
Before leaving, the couples who argued in the department mediation room also came out. “I’m divorcing you tomorrow!” The young pregnant woman, who had just been slapped, gave her husband a loud slap on the face and walked off proudly.
As for the little kid who was caught stealing, he was led out by his parents. “From now on, Dad and Mom will try to work less so we can spend more time with you. If something is bothering you, tell us. Don’t hold it in. We won’t scold you anymore.”

“Hold on a second.” Suddenly, Stanley jumped out of the car and dashed into the store across the street. In less than a minute, he came out hugging a big jar of something.
Once they got in the car, Stanley opened the lid and stuffed an entire box of lollipops into Quinlyn’s arms, saying with authority, “If others have them, you should have some too. Go ahead, eat them, plenty to go around!”
Remembering Quinton sitting next to him, Stanley grabbed a few more and handed them over. “You have some too!”
Joseph, sitting across, let out a soft sneer, saying, “Fool.” Yet, he couldn’t suppress the slight smile on his lips.
When they got back to the amusement park, the two security guards at the entrance were gone, replaced by new faces. Quinlyn and Quinton were each nibbling on a lollipop as they headed straight for the carousel.
The three teenagers, with an average height of six feet two inches, were quite conspicuous while standing in line, trying to act casual and hide their embarrassment.
During the first ride, they managed to take out their phones and snap some pictures of the two kids, pretending to be parents. But after countless rides, they just pleaded for it to stop.
“What’s so great about this thing? It’s my first time getting seasick on a merry–go–round.” Larry couldn’t help but blurt out. Next to him, Joseph let out a soft sigh, also really tired.
The one who had it the worst was Stanley, having thrown up twice already. “No way, even if you gave me a million dollars,
I’m done!”

But then, as soon as Quinlyn suggested a ride on the Ferris wheel before they leave, Stanley was all in. “It’s not safe for just the two of you to ride alone, I will join you*

Joseph was left speechless. He had sent that text on purpose this morning, never expecting Stanley would take it seriously,
In the end, everyone squeezed into one cabin. The staff found this unique mix quite intriguing and took a few extra glances.
Then, they saw three tall teenagers almost get into a fight over who got to sit next to Quinlyn. “No fighting in the cabin, sit down and behave, a staff member said, finally calming things down.
As the machine turned, the cabin slowly ascended, revealing a wider view of the distant scenery. The sunset looked like a sunflower sinking into the horizon, so beautiful that the two kids couldn’t stop staring at it.
Quinton turned his head slightly in the golden dusk, carefully glancing at Quinlyn. He felt she was different from the wealthy kids or classmates he knew at school; she had a unique vibe.
“Q–Quinlyn.” Quinton called her name for the first time and found the syllables quite pleasant. “Thank you for everything you did today.”
“You’ve already thanked me.” Quinlyn replied and then turned her head back to keep looking out the window. It was really high, almost like flying with the birds.
Quinton didn’t know how else to express himself, but he knew just saying thank you wasn’t enough.
Then Larry brought him back to reality, saying, “Alright, our Quinlyn is really cool. She just likes to help others. A big favor doesn’t need words of thanks.
“If you truly want to show your gratitude, work hard to keep up with her and become her support in the future. Quinlyn is really amazing.”
Hearing this, Quinton seemed to suddenly understand, his eyes full of determination. He nodded. “I understand.”
The other two could tell Larry was trying to bluff Quinton, but they didn’t stop him. As heirs of wealthy families, they had playmates and their own social circles from a young age.
Even though Quinlyn was still young, she was destined for greatness, and grooming a few loyal people early wasn’t a bad idea.

That evening, Quinlyn brought Quinton back to the villa. “From now on, this is your home,” Quinlyn said straightforwardly, leaving Quinton hesitating at the door.
At first, Quinton thought that when Quinlyn mentioned having a home, it was probably just a small apartment, like the crowded condo in the bustling area where he used to live.
But to his surprise, it turned out to be a luxurious villa in the city center, where every piece of land is extremely valuable.
“Don’t overthink it. Quinlyn isn’t living here right now, so you can have the place all to yourself,” Stanley said, giving, Quinton a firm pat on the shoulder, thinking he was daydreaming.
However, the idea of having the entire big villa to himself made Quinton too scared to go inside.
It was Joseph who took him to pick a room, set up new bedding, and even called someone to come over and help out for a few days, finally getting Quinton settled.
After dark, Elowyn kept calling to urge everyone to come back for dinner, and that was when the group finally left.
Quinton stood in front of the floor–to–ceiling window, holding the bank card Quinlyn had left him, and watched as the

Starting today, Quinton didn’t have to worry about being hit or sold. He could focus on school and taking care of his mom. He met someone even more powerful than a god.
Returning to the Wilson residence, before even entering, they saw smoke rising from the yard in the distance. A group of people was gathered around having a barbecue.
Elowyn and Zaid, along with Claude, were wearing aprons, busy like restaurant waitstaff and barely stopping. When Quinlyn finally got back, they immediately saw her as a lifesaver and quickly brought her inside.
“Quinlyn, they heard you’re awake and have been waiting all day. Why don’t you have a meal with them, and then they can head home?” Elowyn’s voice was full of hope.
