Stanley wasn’t on the same flight with them. Because Tina was injured and unconscious, he was still in the hospital looking after her and planned to catch an afternoon flight to join them.
They arrived in Brynton around noon, and the group went for lunch first. After lunch, seeing Quinlyn’s curiosity, the Wilson couple suggested going for a walk.
“Let’s visit the Brynton Museum. Quinlyn will definitely like it, Larry suggested eagerly.
Joseph understood his point. Compared to other places, the Brynton Museum had military personnel on guard, making it safer than being outside. At that time, Team 901 and the trainees had gone their separate ways, each going to their planned accommodation to carry out inspections.
Throughout the day, Quinlyn tried many local dishes, and by late afternoon, she returned to the hotel with lots of bags. meeting up with the gaming company’s team.
Before entering, Larry received a phone call and regretfully said, “Stanley can’t make it. He said to give the task to Quinlyn, believing she can handle it.”
Quinlyn knew Maurice and Tina were hard to deal with, so she didn’t ask much. She just nodded seriously and said, “I will defeat them for him.”
This was just overheard by the approaching game team, and everyone’s eyes lit up. “Isn’t it ‘Blooming Roses? It must be! With this height, definitely ‘Blooming Roses.”
Quinlyn was surrounded by a group of people who looked like they wanted to devour her in excitement. She seriously corrected them, “My name is Quinlyn, not Blooming Roses. You’ve got the wrong person.”
“Even the tone is exactly the same.” The group didn’t care about her correction and started circling around her, introducing themselves one by one.
A fatty boy said, “Quinlyn, don’t you remember me? I was the chubby guy who followed you in the game hall last time, fighting monsters alongside you.”
A tall guy chimed in, “And me, the one who offered a lot for your software, and you even taught me how to install it.”
A girl asked, “I’m now the president of your fan club and the moderator of the Blooming Roses section on the forum. Can I get your autograph?”
The group lifted their T–shirts together, showing another T–shirt underneath. It was a uniform pink, printed with a familiar image of blooming roses.
“What is this?” Larry and Joseph both twitched their mouths as they stood by.
“These are our custom–made shirts, inspired by Quinlyn’s first epic win. They became a symbol on the Mordoria website. Aren’t you curious? Isn’t it especially sexy and charming?” Several people struck poses, swaying their hips in a provocat
way.
Elowyn was so shocked by their behavior that she quickly retreated, dragging Quinlyn away. She earnestly advised, “You definitely shouldn’t follow this style. I’ll get you some more beautiful dresses when we get back, dear.”
Quinlyn also thought these people were quite strange, so she nodded. “Okay.”
The gaming team wasn’t concerned. Xiomar, the vice–captain, came over, scratching his head with a smile and said to Quinlyn, “Don’t worry, we usually don’t do this.
“It’s just that this is the first time meeting you, so we wanted to do a little welcome event. Stanley already said that you would be the captain, leading us to the competition. We’re all okay with that.”

More than okay, they were practically grinning from ear to ear.
Elowyn was seriously doubting the mental state of the gaming team, as she followed Quinlyn all the way to the room. Seeing the gaming chairs all lined up with the massive screen computers, she felt like stepping into another world.
Xiomar explained. “For this international online match, even though there’s no ranking, the outcome is still based on whose defenses hold out longer and whose walls get breached first.
“Some underhanded tactics will probably be used. So, we need to practice coordinating ahead of time to see who will be on offense and who will stay back.
“Of course, the real heavy hitters are the DigitalKey Group and Mordoria. They’re definitely going to be the big bosses in this peak battle. To compete with them at the top level, we need to first take care of the second and third–tier opponents.
“It’s basically like leveling up in a monster battle, similar to last time when the Alliance Forum launched attacks on international websites. But this time, both sides are prepared, so it won’t be as easy to break through.”
The Wilson family and Larry saw Quinlyn sitting in front of the computer, and her entire demeanor changed. Everyone began following Quinlyn’s lead, showing the so–called power of idols. Then, they stepped outside.
Outside the door, Ivan and Yanis were leaning against the wall, keeping watch. Elowyn was startled, asking, “What are you guys doing here?”
“Elowyn, they’re here to see me. You and Zaid should go ahead and rest. I’ll have a chat with them.” Larry, always smooth and charming, easily sent the Wilson couple away with just a few words.
Joseph stayed behind. Larry didn’t bother with him and directly asked the two, “Any news?”
The two shook their heads together. Everything had been calm along the way, and even the hotel guests checked in and out normally.
Larry frowned, “It would be good if we can catch them in advance. Otherwise, we won’t be able to get into the arena tonight. If Quinlyn gets exposed, that’s when it becomes really dangerous.”
Joseph, who was already informed about the whole situation, also looked serious. “Can’t DigitalKey Group do anything? Aren’t they partnering with the authorities?”
“Heh, that guy’s a lone wolf. Even though Warren was proven innocent last time in the mountains, you know the authorities aren’t easy to convince. That guy would probably love to be bait and get run over on his way out,” Larry said with a mocking expression.
Joseph stood silently, looking through the floor–to–ceiling window at the towering central building in Brynton, with the gold letters of DigitalKey Group shining luxuriously on top. Warren wanted to establish himself here, but it wouldn’t be without a
cost.
“He’s trying to lure out the enemy using Quinlyn as bait?” Joseph had only met Warren a few times before, with no strong. impressions. Now, he was starting to feel a bit annoyed.
“Ugh, the thing is, Quinlyn knows what’s going on and she’s still willing to help,” Larry said, feeling helpless, his eyes al the tall building, his expression unreadable. “What exactly is Warren working on with the higher–ups that makes peopi. abroad so desperately want to destroy it?”
There was no answer to that question. Only the parties involved and Quinlyn, who infiltrated their system, knew.
Due to the time difference, the international competition was scheduled at a time everyone could manage. For Ceruland, it was 9 PM. This time, only Joseph and Larry were escorting Quinlyn, heading to the location of the White Stadium.
Once inside, the 901 squad outside began coordinating with the trainees, keeping watch around the area until the match
ended.

Unaware of all this, the game team was like kids visiting Disneyland for the first time, taking in the sights and marveling at everything.
“The last time we were here, we watched the opening ceremony of the sports meet. Never thought we’d become participants ourselves. With the legendary Quinlyn on our team, we’re sure to dominate and get a spot on the podium.”
“Thanks to the committee, thanks to all the folks back home, and thanks to my mom and dad.”
The group was having fun when suddenly, they heard a mocking voice behind them. “Who let these country bumpkins in here? They must have gotten lost. Nobody wants to see you cringe–inducing nerds here.”
