Chapter 96

The red dot came in aggressively, trying to take down DigitalKey Group’s flag right away. Yasmine’s team was startled, only then noticing Mordoria in the corner, which seemed to be from a different group.
“A lone wolf, huh…” Yasmine narrowed her eyes, slightly indifferent, and casually ordered, “You all handle it. I’ll keep targeting the base camp. Don’t hold me back again.”
The other team members couldn’t even be bothered to roll their eyes. Obviously, Yasmine was just being overly ambitious, wanting to take over the main base for its benefits, but she made it sound so noble. However, they were just regular employees and had to follow orders.
So five minutes later, after dealing with the red dot, they returned to find their captain had been taken down. Yasmine’s computer went black. On the big screen, DigitalKey’s IP was erased.
This was awkward. “Weren’t we the ones supposed not to hold back, how did you mess up?” a member whispered.
Yasmine’s face turned red with anger as she slammed the table and glared back at them. “It’s all because you guys are so foolish! The opponent is the top tech superpower, and everyone ganged up on me. If you’re so capable, why don’t you take over?”
The members, also geniuses from prestigious schools, couldn’t stand being insulted repeatedly. Without hesitation, they stood up, ready to challenge Yasmine.
Just as they were about to act, a soft voice was heard from behind. “We’ve got this. Why don’t you let us have a turn?*
The childish voice echoed awkwardly in the vast conference room. Looking back, they saw a large chair and screen almost completely hid the little child, with only the glow of the monitor lighting up her tiny face. It was Quinlyn and her team.
“You guys? Don’t be silly. If you try, you wouldn’t even get close to their firewall,” Yasmine sneered, maintaining a superior air even in defeat.
Quinlyn hummed, pulling her hand back without any argument, and then pressed the enter key to send the virus she had prepared from the beginning.
In the next moment, the IP that had been tough for Yasmine to crack was successfully hacked.
Xiomar and the others were stunned for a few seconds, and then burst into hysterical laughter. “That’s the Quinlyn we know and love, all action with no unnecessary chatter.”
“Can we jump in now?” Quinlyn asked again, her tone remaining as sincere as ever.
Yasmine’s face turned redder with humiliation, feeling as if her proud dignity was being trodden underfoot. She really hoped Warren would stand up for her. But just as he had allowed her to boast previously, now he simply watched quietly as she was belittled.
“Hey, DigitalKey’s top talent, make a decision already, they’re attacking again, or just jump in yourself!” Xiomar chuckled mischievously, adding fuel to the fire.
Yasmine couldn’t tolerate this provocation and moved aside, grabbing a team member’s computer. “I’ll handle it myself. I don’t need you guys taking advantage of me here.”
Yasmine attributed Quinlyn’s win to cheating, saying it was just a lucky break. But secretly, she knew how tough Mordoria’s defense was.
To redeem herself, Yasmine launched a fierce attack, pounding the keyboard as if sparks would fly. However, after five or even ten minutes, she achieved little and the other red markers were closing in.
The DigitalKey Group hurried to provide support, but the gap caused by the earlier IP takeover left them struggling in

battle.
“No, if we keep going, we’ll be completely wiped out!”
“Damn, it’s bad enough you messed up; don’t drag us down too! Oh man! I really died!”

In less than two minutes, another team died, all because of Yasmine. A women in their team lunged at Yasmine, grabbing her hair. “You crazy girl! Using us to boost yourself, thinking just because you’re connected at DigitalKey, you own the world? What about our dignity?!”
The girl’s hand rose and fell, landing two strong slaps on Yasmine’s cheeks. Her fierce actions sent the DigitalKey folks scurrying back to their seats, too ashamed to even lift their heads.
Now, Ceruland was left with only three flags. Meanwhile, Mordoria launched a counterattack, concentrating their firepower to close in. Soon, the team at the front lines was also defeated.
“Hey, our final act is really holding strong! Buddy, your skills are awesome!” Xiomar said while pounding the keyboard, not forgetting to give a thumbs up to his neighbor.
The neighbor smiled awkwardly. It wasn’t that they were particularly skilled; it was just the opponent couldn’t break through their firewall. Even if they sat idly, the other side couldn’t make a move either.
While they were just pretending to work, lazily tapping the keyboard, Xiomar was extremely excited. “Quinlyn, watch over me, I’m going to take this guy down. Yes! Quinlyn’s spirit is with me, watch me capture this flag. Wow, I did it!”
At first, they were just casually bragging, like praying before a test, but unexpectedly, as soon as they spoke, the opponent’s firewall turned out to be as fragile as paper, easily pierced, and they captured the flags.
Eventually, everyone just stared at the big screen blankly, watching the flags being gathered, and in the end, all the foreign IPs lay still, simply letting them capture the flags.
Until Xiomar took the last flag from Mordoria, he sighed while patting his shirt, “Took it so easily, it’s no fun, really no fun at all.”
Other teams was at a loss for words.
At that moment, applause came from the front. Warren, who had been watching from the sidelines, clapped as he strolled over and shook Xiomar’s hand, “Thank you so much. This victory was spectacular and caught the world’s attention.”
Xiomar wasn’t confident enough to handle the compliment and shyly looked down. “Mr. Sullivan, you’re too kind. It’s all thanks to Quinlyn’s power. Today, wearing it made me feel invincible.”
Now he could finally show off his prized shirt with pride. Everyone stared at the ornate fan T–shirt and felt speechless.
Warren observed the shirt for a few seconds before slowly saying, “It’s indeed quite auspicious. Are there more? I’d love to
have one too.”
“Really? Mr. Sullivan, if you join our Quinlyn fan club now, you can get a support shirt and I’ll keep some merchandise for you for later.”
“Of course.”
Hearing their conversation, everyone else found it even more intriguing.
At that moment, Quinlyn stood up from the chair and nudged Warren’s side, whispering, “Enough messing around; we’ve found the person, so it’s time to go.”
