Warren had gone missing. There was no trace of him in the country and no flight information. It was as if he had vanished into thin air.
However, the shares of the large DigitalKey Group he left behind skyrocketed more than tenfold overnight. An international online friendly competition saw DigitalKey achieve an impressive victory, causing a stir across major media platforms as investors rallied in support.
As the biggest beneficiary, Quinlyn’s net worth directly soared into the billions.
The next day, Team 901 received orders to go to DigitalKey headquarters and remove another group of people. These were not just any employees but department managers or project leaders with important roles.
The only thing they had in common was that they were parachute appointees, not well liked in the company and often criticized, so their removal was actually a reason for the employees to celebrate.
They thought the new boss couldn’t tolerate the favoritism, giving a thumbs up all around. Little did they know, these individuals were all test subjects.
In the office, Ivan received a call, confirming all test subjects had been collected. “Mission completed. Mr. Ramirez is quite happy this time. He was initially against starting this experiment, so it’s good to put a stop to some people’s unrealistic hopes.” He conveyed Curtis’s thoughts with a smile.
Quinlyn stood by the floor–to–ceiling window, surveying the view of Brynton, yet felt none of the joy she experienced while riding a Ferris wheel. “What will happen to those people?” she asked quietly.
“I’m not sure; they’ll probably be locked up. They’re failed experiments and won’t be used,” Ivan guessed, shaking his head. “In the end, if they had initially succeeded, they wouldn’t have ended up in a place like DigitalKey.”
Walking a tightrope in a gray area, Warren clearly knew the situation. So he left early, outsmarting the higher–ups, and handed the company over to Quinlyn.
Quinlyn guessed his thoughts. Right now, the only person who could handle the difficult situation of DigitalKey Group was her, with her impressive achievement and training at the 901 Military Base.
Still, she murmured softly so that Ivan wouldn’t hear, “Those people are innocent too. They’re not just experiments, they’re living human beings.”
After staying for two more days, the group finally set off for home. As soon as they left the airport, Quinlyn was surrounded by bouquets of flowers.
Stanley led a big crowd, with banners saying “Happy Birthday to Princess Quinlyn” and a welcoming party that made the celebrity arrivals at the neighboring gate look insignificant.
Stanley smiled, “So, what do you think, Quinlyn? Surprised? Unexpected?”
Quinlyn was nearly engulfed by the sea of flowers, with a diamond tiara placed on her head, yet she still had a blank expression.
Joseph helped by taking some of the flowers away so they wouldn’t overwhelm her, and said with a shrug, “This guy said he couldn’t make it in time, so he decided to throw you a birthday party as soon as we got off the plane.”
“Come on, quick, let’s go see what I got you!” Stanley was eager and pulled Quinlyn along as they headed outside.
The vibrant group was singing and dancing and ended up scattering the fan club nearby. The fans were displeased and complained to the airport staff, “Hey, isn’t this disrupting the order at the airport? Aren’t you going to do anything about it?”

The staff thought to themselves that the most disorganized people were the fans who came to the airport every other day. But they politely explained, “Sorry, but this area was booked by the airline company’s young boss, and they’ve already tried to pick a less crowded time.”
Hearing this, the fans were surprised and showed some displeasure, but their voices got quieter. “So what if he has money? Does having money let you do whatever you want? Why not just buy out the entire airport?”
“Well, it’s not out of the question, especially since the daughter of the real estate tycoon who built the airport is in there too. But for the convenience of regular travelers, they decided not to charter a flight or cancel any flights today. The staff member was very dutiful.
Unfortunately, the more he explained, the redder the fans‘ faces became. Just then, a gentle and warm voice came over. “What happened? Were you guys pushed around?”
The fans turned around and saw their idol talking to them, and they almost fainted from happiness.
“I’m sorry, next time I’ll take the VIP route so it won’t cause any trouble for the airport.” A beautiful woman apologized to the
staff.
She then glanced at the flowers scattered on the ground and gently reminded them, “Please don’t bring flowers next time; they can harm the environment and create extra work for the staff.”
“Alright, Yolanda, we’ll do whatever you say. You’re amazing.” The fans were crying tears of joy.
The staff just wanted to roll their eyes. All Yolanda did was talk every day, yet they had never seen her actually use the VIP lane seriously. And, more important, she should notice that her fans only have a few flowers in hand.
Yolanda said goodbye to her fans and, once in the babysitter van, she took off her sunglasses and slumped into the seat, feeling frustrated.
She fumed, “What’s going on today? Didn’t you say there wouldn’t be any other female stars outshining me? But look at what kind of spectacle is happening next door compared to our meager show!”
Courtney, Yolanda’s agent, was left with spit all over her face and felt quite wronged. “We really don’t know. It seems like some wealthy family is throwing a birthday party for their kid. The media probably won’t report it.”
“Humph, how fancy can it be? That kid was so dull, and wearing a crown too. It must be made of plastic,” Yolanda fumed in anger, and then asked, “Is tonight’s cruise performance confirmed?”
“It’s confirmed. I heard the main character just got back, and tonight’s a birthday celebration at sea. But…,” Courtney hesitated for a moment, “there’s a dress code. Long dresses, long sleeves, nothing revealing–apparently because the birthday star is a kid.”
“What?” Yolanda frowned. She’d spent half a month taking care of her skin and had prepared a sexy outfit. But then she chuckled. “Let the other fools be modest. That’s how I can steal the spotlight from everyone.”
Seeing she wasn’t planning to follow the rules, Courtney felt a bit worried. “But what if they say we’re breaking the contract…”
Yolanda replied, “Humph, what’s there to be afraid of? I’m the lead actress, the biggest star. Without me, how can they perform?
“As for the outfit, it’s just a kid’s birthday, right? In a place like that, it’s just a show for the rich. Who cares about the birthday celebrant? I bet they’d love for us to dress as boldly as possible.”
Yolanda didn’t mind at all. Courtney thought about it and agreed, “Well, just get ready properly. After all, it’s hosted by the richest Hill family, not some small airport event. Standing out there will definitely make the headlines.”
“I know,” Yolanda said, holding her makeup mirror. She admired her stunning reflection and recalled the flowers at the airport, sneering as she thought, ‘Who cares about ordinary wealthy families? Tonight, I’ll snag myself a rich husband and join the top elite circles.”

Meanwhile, Quinlyn was being driven to the beach in a luxury car. Ivan wanted to take her back to report at the base, but a group of affluent youngsters completely ignored him.
Devin boasted, “Even if it’s the King himself, Quinlyn’s birthday is the priority. Anyone who tries to stop this won’t be boarding my yacht tonight.”
Ivan wasn’t going to take the blame for this.
