“Annika, say hello to Marie,” Elsa said to her daughter.
Annika looked up at Mariela and smiled, greeting her friendly, “Good evening, Marie.”
Mariela smiled gently and handed Annika a pink bag tied with a bow.“Good evening, Annika. This is a gift for you.”
Elsa was slightly surprised and quickly waved her hand, saying, “No, no. I invite you to dinner tonight to thank you. It’s enough that you’re here. Why bring a gift?”
Mariela smiled and said, “For Annika. She is so adorable. My sister is around the same age as her, and I see her as if I’m looking at my own sister. It’s no problem to give her a little gift.”
Elsa glanced at the bag in Annika’s hand.
The logo printed on the bag was Prada. Annika was curious and immediately took out the things from the bag.
It was a pair of very beautiful pink hairpins, with a shiny circle of pink rhinestones around it.
Annika’s eyes lit up when she saw the hairpin, and she smiled brightly and said, “Wow, thank you, Marie. The hairpins are so beautiful. I really like them.”
Elsa smiled and said, “You’ve spent so much, Ms. Logan. Thank you.”
“That’s good she likes it.”
Although Elsa invited Mariela to dinner to thank her, Mariela also felt embarrassed to go empty–handed, so she bought a pair of hairpins.
Children just loved these cute and shiny little things.
“Ms. Logan, let me take you upstairs,” Elsa said with a smile.
“Okay.”
The private room was on the third floor, and Mariela followed Elsa into the elevator.
The elevator door closed.
Annika looked at Elsa, saying, “Mom, help me put it on.”
Elsa reluctantly smiled and took the pair of hairpins, placing one on the left and one on the right side of her hair.
“It looks really good, Mariela praised.
Elsa said, “Thank you so much, Ms. Logan.”
“You’re welcome.”
In the time it took for two sentences, the elevator arrived on the third floor.
Elsa took Mariela to the private room.

Pushing open the door, Mariela saw the person sitting inside and was taken aback.
There were four people sitting inside.
Bryce stood up and greeted her with a smile, ‘Good evening, partner.”
Elsa laughed and teased, “Why? It sounds much better to call her Marie. We are already so familiar.”

Elsa turned to Marie and said, “Bryce happens to be nearby and hasn’t had dinner yet, so I asked him to come over together. Ms. Logan, you don’t mind, do you?”
