“He doesn’t agree,” the caller said.“Perla and Eason argued at the hospital last night, making their divorce public. This morning, Perla hired a lawyer for the divorce agreement.”
Mariela said, “Eason probably won’t sign it. Perla might sue for divorce. Watch Perla closely and tell me any new updates immediately.”

After hanging up, Mariela pondered to herself.
If Eason didn’t sign and Perla sued, Eason would hire a lawyer.
This marriage didn’t end easily.
Usually, courts didn’t grant a divorce if the husband disagreed the first time, but there were still a few rare cases where courts did grant the divorce.
To be sure, Mariela would handle Eason and Perla’s divorce herself.
