Gia pointed to the newly arrived case file.“See? I told you to rest and recover properly in the hospital. It’s a rare chance to take a break, yet you can’t stop thinking about work. There will be plenty for you to do once you’re back.”
Mariela smiled, “It’s good.”
She asked Hailie, “How did those cases with substitutes go?”
Hailie gave a brief overview of the court proceedings, “All won.”
“Great.” Mariela approved.“Hailie, you’ve improved a lot.”
