Eason said with a dark face, “Jay, get your mom out of here. It’s embarrassing to make a scene here.”
Jaime furrowed his brows and asked, “Dad, what happened?”
“Your mom started the trouble. No wonder Ms. Logan fought back,” Eason said with a serious face. Just now your mom rushed over to hit Ms. Logan, but she failed to hit her and got hit back instead. Alright, go back quickly.”
“Mom, I know you were dissatisfied with the court’s verdict, but you couldn’t hit others either.” Jaime’s eyes carried a hint of reproach. “Marie is Dad’s attorney, and she was just doing her job. You can’t take your anger out on her.”

Marie went back to the law firm.
Front desk staff Anabel greeted with a smile, “Ms. Logan, you’ve returned. Ms. Moore is waiting for you in the office.”
Marie’s footsteps paused.“Did Ms. Moore come?”
Anabel nodded. “Yes, she’s been here for almost an hour. I told her that you were in court. She said she would be here waiting for you.”

Jaida sat bored on the sofa, flipping through a legal journal. When Mariela returned, she put down the magazine and greeted, “You finally came back.”
