“Marie, let’s go have lunch together,” Bryce said.
Lennon spoke coldly from the side, “I’m sorry, Mr. Vance, but I have a few more questions for Ms. Logan about the recent case. I have invited Ms. Logan for lunch.”
Bryce smirked and said, “The case has just been tried, Mr. Stark only needs to wait for the verdict. Why would he need to ask any questions?”
His tone had a sharp edge.
Lennon was not annoyed either, he just chuckled and said, “I am the client, I have a question to ask my attorney about Mr. Vance. Is Mr. Vance involved in this case? Perhaps I am worrying too much?”
Bryce also laughed, albeit with a hint of mockery, “I’m afraid Mr. Stark was using the case as a pretext to go on a date with Ms. Logan, wasn’t he?”
“So what?” Lennon’s eyes were filled with contempt.
Bryce’s face darkened.
Marie saw the two of them arguing and immediately became overwhelmed with a headache.
They had already arrived at the parking lot outside the courthouse while speaking.
Marie said to Bryce, “I’m sorry, Mr. Vance. Mr. Stark was my client, and I had no reason to refuse when he asked me questions about the case.”
Upon hearing the words, Lennon curled his lips and cast a provocative glance at Bryce. When facing Marie, Bryce suppressed the displeasure on his face and with a smile in his gently said, “Alright, I’ll go back first.”

After Bryce left, Marie turned to Lennon and pretended to be angry, staring at him, “Why do you two start arguing as soon as you talk?”
Lennon smirked and said, “Well, you should ask him, he was the one who started being sarcastic first.”
“Alright.” Marie said helplessly, “You don’t really have a question to ask me, do you?”
“Marie was really smart,” the man’s deep eyes twinkled with a smile, his voice sexy and alluring.“I simply wanted to have a meal with you.”
“I knew it.” Marie walked towards her white McLaren P1.
Seeing this car, a joyful smile appeared on Lennon’s lips.
This car was the one he gave to Marie last
year.
When he broke up with Marie, he said a lot of hurtful words. He knew that if he personally went to give the car to Marie, she would definitely not accept it, so he had to let Darryl do it.
