Chapter 151
Royce and Rayne also dressed in formal attire, exuding an elegant and dignified demeanor.
The Logan family also arrived here later.
Angelica greeted Haleigh and then ran out to play.
The two families gathered together, laughing and chatting, and went over the engagement process once again.
The engagement ceremony was about to begin.
Lennon received a phone call.
The woman was heartbroken and said, “Lenny, can you not get engaged to Mariela?”
The smile on Lennon’s face vanished instantly without a trace.
He walked out of the lounge to make a phone call.
“Who were you?”

“Lenny, don’t you remember me? I am Dalia,” the woman said, crying.“Why? Why did you get engaged to Mariela? I pursued you for ten years, ten whole years!”
Dalia? Ten years?
Lennon remembered.
This woman was his high school classmate, Dalia Ballard, the school beauty of their year. Lennon’s face darkened as he coldly said, “Dalia, stop calling me. We can never be together.”

But this girl was like a piece of adhesive plaster, always sticking to him.
Everyone knew that he was being chased at school.
He was extremely annoyed and used his family’s influence to force her to transfer schools.
After Dalia transferred schools, he finally found peace.
But the good times didn’t last long, as he encountered her again after he entered college.
She didn’t know where she heard about the New York University he applied to, but she followed and took the exam.
She used to bring him breakfast every day, accompany him to the classroom for classes, and constantly send love letters and gifts.
Dalia once again became the talk of the school for pursuing him.
Dalia cried bitterly, “Lenny, do you really not care about my well–being? Why are you so heartless? Is my life worth less than an engagement ceremony?”
Lennon was calm, like an emotionless robot. His tone was extremely indifferent as he said, “This approach might work with other men, but it
won’t work with me.”
Dalia wanted to say something more, but Lennon did not give her the chance.
