At that time, she entertained the idea of providing funds for the Herman Group.
Though Jaime thought that her family conditions were not satisfactory and never considered marrying her, they had been in a relationship for three years

affection between them. Helping him out could be possible.
That day, she went to the gathering to meet Jaime, wanting to have a good talk with him about investing in the Herman Group.
She had a falling out with her family, so Deandre wouldn’t invest.
But her cousin Wesley was now the head of the Shaw family, and the Shaw Group was thriving under his leadership. Last year, it became one of the top ten domestic enterprises. Wesley had always doted on her, and as long as she asked, providing funds to the Herman family would be a piece of cake.
But on that night, she heard Jaime say that she was just a substitute for Juliette.
Mariela pulled her thoughts back and said to Perla, “Don’t worry, I will return to my hometown in a couple of days and I won’t come back again.”

Before Perla arrived, she thought about giving Mariela a lesson to make Mariela serve her well. She even fantasized about the scene where Mariela would cry and call Jaime to complain.

Mariela left, and Perla didn’t want to stay here for long. She walked out of the villa angrily, thinking about how to express her dissatisfaction with Mariela to Jaime.
She was dissatisfied with this ignorant girl!
The driver waited at the door.
Perla had not been in the car for long when she received a call from Juliette.
She calmed down her restless emotions and answered the phone with a gentle tone.
Juliette, the girlfriend Jay dated is so impolite. I just witnessed it a moment ago. It confirms the saying ‘poverty breeds wickedness!”
