Lauryn struggled to suppress the urge to curse, but instead, she forced a smile and linked her arm with Lennon’s, saying, “Then I’ll take a few photos with my brother alone.”
Mariela’s eyelashes drooped halfway, her gaze falling on Lauryn’s hand.
Lennon withdrew his hand and cast a cold gaze downward, saying, “How old are you? Why are you still clinging to your brother? It’s time to find a boyfriend.”
No matter how good Lauryn was at pretending, when she heard Lennon urging her to find a boyfriend, the smile on her face couldn’t hold up. A slight crack appeared in the expression she had faked, and her eyes looked hurt.
“Brother, why can’t I stick to you when I grow up? You used to spoil me so much, didn’t you?”
Lennon had a cold and distant attitude, “The past is the past, the present is the present, Lauryn, you should know how to avoid suspicion.”
Just now, Lennon saw through Lauryn’s ulterior motives through some of her actions. However, considering that she is his sister, he spared her embarrassment and did not expose her in public.

Lennon, however, said indifferently, “Fiona is right. Although we are siblings, we don’t have any blood relation after all. Let’s not do things that can easily be misunderstood.”
Lauryn still wanted to say something, but Lennon bypassed her and took Mariela’s hand directly. His dark eyes were deep and mysterious, showing concern.“Marie, we’re done taking photos, let’s go.”
Mariela smirked and looked at Lauryn with a victorious challenge in her eyes, “Sister, if you want to take pictures, feel free to stay and take your time. I’m going with your brother first.”
Mariela sneered in her heart, hehe, pretending to be innocent and naive, but unfortunately your brother has already seen through you.
After the sunset, the temperature dropped gradually, and the mountain stream brought a cool breeze. The air became more humid, and it was noticeably much colder.
Lennon took out a thick coat from his backpack and said, “Marie, put on an extra piece of clothing.”
Lauryn had no outdoor experience and was unaware of the large temperature difference between day and night in the mountains. At this moment, she was shivering in her thin and lightweight mountaineering outfit.
