Lauryn was not pure–hearted.
Mariela didn’t speak and waited quietly for Lennon’s response.
Lennon looked around and then glanced down at the ground.
Lauryn didn’t know what he was looking at, with a puzzled expression, she asked, “Brother, what’s wrong?”
Lennon’s voice was faint, “Since you want to see the meteor shower so much, then just sit here and watch. The view is pretty good here, although it’s not as good as the observatory, but watching the meteor shower shouldn’t be a problem.”
“Ah?” Lauryn clearly didn’t expect Lennon to say that.

“Ah! Snake! There’s a snake!” Fiona screamed in terror, pointing behind Lauryn.
Lauryn instantly jumped up and swiftly ran a few steps behind Lennon, “Ah! There’s a snake! Brother, I’m scared!”
Silence.
The scene froze for a few seconds.
Everyone present was stunned into silence by the scene before their eyes.
The wind blew and the branches swayed gently.
“Puff” a few seconds later, Fiona burst into laughter, breaking the silence.
“Didn’t you twist your foot and couldn’t walk? I see you’re bouncing around just fine, huh? So, are you pretending to be in pain now?”
Realizing that she had been deceived, Lauryn, who was hiding behind Lennon, briefly had a sinister expression on her face, but quickly returned to normal.
She had a slightly gloomy complexion and spoke with an unexpected tone, “Ms. Wilcox, don’t you know that when a person is frightened, they can unleash their body’s potential?”
