Mariela fell silent.

I will come to Los Angeles to see you.” After hanging up the phone, Mariela carefully recalled what that had happened tonight.
Why did Juliette sneak into her room while she was taking a shower? It wasn’t just to look around, as Juliette claimed. There must have been some ulterior motive behind Juliette’s actions.
Mariela walked around the room, carefully examining the arrangement of the items. Apart from the broken Hello Kitty, everything seemed to be the same as before, with nothing unusual.
Suddenly, her gaze fell upon the glass of milk on the bedside table.
Mariela had a habit of drinking a cup of warm milk before going to bed.
The milk was heated and brought to her by the nanny before Mariela took a bath. She planned to drink it after she finished bathing The Hello Kitty was placed on this bedside table before it was broken.
Juliette broke the Hello Kitty. It indicates that she must have lingered near the bedside table when she came to her room. This glass of milk was very likely tampered with by Juliette.
Lennon arrived in Los Angeles three hours later.
When Mariela received the call, Lennon had been rushing towards Waterfront Villa.
Mariela was throwing away the unwanted stuff she had packed up a few days ago. She threw them away one bag at a time into the trash bin outside the villa.
“Lenny, I won’t stay here tonight,” Mariela said as she walked towards the villa while talking on the phone. She still had a lot of things to throw away. The nanny was on leave at this time. Mariela didn’t want to bother the nanny, so she decided to throw all the things away herself.
Lennon didn’t ask much either. He just said, “okay“.
Mariela asked again, “Have you booked the hotel?”
Lennon told her the name of a hotel.
́“Alright. I will also book a room at that hotel. Let’s meet at the hotel later. You don’t need to rush over to my home. Just go straight to the hotel.” She planned to clean up everything tonight and take her luggage to leave the villa.
