Mariela gave an address and said, “Six thirty, meet at the coffee shop.”

After she hung up the phone, Bryce knocked on the door and walked in. “Ms. Logan, regarding what my aunt told you yesterday, I thought about it and I feel like I should apologize to you.”
Mariela raised her eyebro
and said, “It’s okay. I knew she was joking. I didn’t take it to heart.”
“How about this,” Bryce pushed his glasses up his nose, “I’ll treat you to a meal as a substitute for my aunt’s apology.”
Mariela smiled and said, “No need to be like this.”
Bryce glanced at Mariela, paused for a moment, touched his nose, and said, “Alright.”
“Oh, by the way.” Mariela took out
thick and heavy leather document bags.“We received a few new cases today. These two cases
are assigned to you. They are in your area of expertise.”
Bryce took the document bags and said with a smile, “Another new case so soon just as I expected. You’re always reliable, and followi
you won’t leave me hungry.”
“Mr. Vance, is your only pursuit in life t
not go hungry?” Mariela chuckled, “Open them and take a look.”
Bryce opened the bags.
It was a trademark dispute.
Bryce quickly glanced over the materials and a smile appeared on his lips, “I’ll earn the money paid for yesterday’s red wine.” Mariela also chuckled, “I said I won’t let

lose out.”
