I blinked, trying to process what he was saying. “You can’t be serious. You’re about to marry
her.”
I stood there, stunned, trying to make sense of what he was saying. “For me?” I whispered, barely able to believe it. The sunflowers, the way he had been acting–was it really all meant for me? My heart raced as I put the pieces together.
Nathan wasn’t thinking about Sienna at all. It was like she didn’t even exist to him today. I felt a mix of confusion and shock. “Nathan, you’re supposed to be marrying Sienna,” I said, trying to stay calm. But the way he looked at me, so sure of himself, made it clear this wasn’t a mistake. He had planned everything, just for me.
Nathan’s expression didn’t waver. “I can change my bride at any time. Doris, I want to win
you back. You’re the right person for me, for Luna. I see that now.”
I stared at him, my mind racing. This was too much. “Go back to the venue, Nathan,” I said. softly. “There’s a surprise waiting for you.”
He looked confused but nodded and turned to walk back inside. I stayed behind for a
moment, my heart pounding. I knew what was coming next, but I wasn’t sure how I felt

When I finally returned to the hall, I could feel the shift in the atmosphere. The room was
