Chapter 120
I rushed forward, my heart hammering in my chest. “Sienna!” I called out, “What are you doing here?”
Sienna didn’t even budge. She just stood there, staring at me coldly. Her expressions were unreadable. Her silence only made my heart race faster, and I couldn’t ignore the feeling that something was terribly wrong. “I don’t know who you are,” she said flatly.
I froze. There was no way this could be true. The scar on her face, the one I had seen so many times before, was undeniable. It was Sienna, this was Sienna. I took a step closer, my breath coming faster. “No, it’s you,” I said, “That scar… It’s you. Sienna. I know it is.”
She glanced at the scar on her face, but only for a brief moment. The way she looked at it made it seem like it meant nothing to her. She then looked back at me, her eyes hard ast stone. “I don’t know you,” she repeated, her tone sharp and dismissive.
I couldn’t understand it. How could she be standing there, acting as if we had never met? As if everything between us meant nothing? “Stop pretending.” I pleaded, “We’ve been through so much. You can’t just forget me, forget everything.”
She narrowed her eyes, a glint of annoyance flickering in them. “I don’t know you,” she said again in a low and cruel tone. It was like a slap in the face, each word cutting deeper than
the last.
I felt the anger welling up inside me, but I kept it in check, at least for the moment. This wasn’t the time to lose control. I took another step closer. “Why are you doing this?” I asked, my voice quieter now, but still edged with disbelief. “What’s going on, Sienna? Why are you acting like this?”
Her lips curled into a sneer. I’m not the one with a problem,” she said. “You are. You’re the one who keeps making up stories.”
felt my pulse quicken. Was she really this far gone? This cold and unrecognizable? I
couldn’t believe what I was hearing. This wasn’t the Sienna I had known. But then, something changed. Her gaze flicked to my face, and for a brief moment, I saw something Acker in her eyes. It wasn’t recognition. It was something darker. Something ugly. Jealousy.

Pure, unfiltered jealousy.
Tcould feel it in the air. Her eyes were on my face now, studying me, as if she were seeing
something she hated. I knew she was jealous, but it was different now, deeper, more intense than I had ever felt before.
“You think you’re so special, don’t you?” Sienna hissed. “Always the pretty one. Always the one getting all the attention.”
I was taken aback. “What are you talking about?” I asked, completely thrown off. “This is about me, isn’t it? This is about you being angry because-
Before I could finish, she snapped her fingers, her eyes never leaving me. “Maid!” she barked. “Get over here and teach this woman some manners. Beat her up.”
I recoiled, the shock of her command hitting me like a punch. Was this really happening? Was she really asking someone to attack me? My body stiffened, but I didn’t have time to react before one of the guards escorting me spoke up.
“This is a guest invited by the Alpha,” he said firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument. “She is not to be touched.”
Sienna’s eyes narrowed in disbelief. “A guest?” she scoffed. “In handcuffs?” Her voice dripped with sarcasm. “Is that the new way of welcoming guests around here?”
The guard didn’t move, his posture unwavering. That is not your concern,” he said coldly, “Maid, take her away.”
The maid, who had been standing there, unsure, suddenly stiffened. Her earlier hesitance. vanished. She marched forward with surprising strength and grabbed Sienna’s arm, yanking her away with ease. Sienna tried to pull back, but the maid’s grip was unrelenting, and she was dragged out of the room with no further words.
I stood there, momentarily stunned. What had just happened? I opened my mouth to ask. the guard more questions, but before I could speak, the man’s eyes flicked toward me.
“Why is Sienna here?” I asked, desperation creeping into my voice. “What’s going on? What does this all mean?”
He didn’t answer right away. He just looked at me with that cold, unreadable expression, as “Goving Up My First Love For Secret Research: Second Chance at Happineia

my question had no weight. After a long pause, he finally spoke, his voice like ice. “That is not something you need to know.”
Before I could press him further, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving me standing there, more confused than ever.
I sat down heavily on the bed. The past few days felt like a whirlwind, and I couldn’t make sense of anything anymore. It had all started when strange things began happening around. my house, things I couldn’t explain.
