Michael looked straight at Nancy, “Lena, I’m really sorry for the trouble you faced today. I absolutely despise such behavior. How about I give you a 50% discount?”
Nancy paused, her fingers hovering in mid–air.
Even Lenard was taken aback, his eyes widening in disbelief. “A 50% discount!”
Holy cow, the only villa for sale in Maple Grove Residences was already a bargain at a few million dollars, and now it’s half off. Considering everything, that’s a savings of thirty million. Talk about a total win!
Michael’s gaze discreetly swept over to Judson, who seemed to be exuding a bit of pride, like he was waiting for a pat on the back. But before Michael could bask in his excitement, he caught Judson’s icy stare.
Michael was taken aback. “What’s wrong?”
Wait a second, was the discount too small?
Judson was indeed thinking along those lines; he would have preferred a 90% discount. Five percent off was just not cutting it! Michael needed to learn a lesson.
The house was originally intended as a gift for Nancy.
While Michael and Judson were having their silent exchange, Sarah, who had been silent for a while, suddenly exploded.
“Mr. Ferguson, have you lost your mind? Selling the Maple Grove Residences at such a low price to Nancy? You
must have a crush on her!”
Nancy’s eyes flashed coldly as she faced Sarah. “So, slandering me is your best shot because you can’t have what I have? That’s pretty low.”
“Low? How can you get a house worth seventy million for such a cheap price!” Sarah shrieked hysterically.
Cyrus felt inexplicably uneasy and glared at Michael.
“Mr. Ferguson, Nancy will not buy your house. She is my wife, and I will not allow it.”
Listening to Cyrus, Michael chuckled coldly, “Still dreaming? Nancy won’t buy my house, but Lena will.”
“Exactly, does my Nancy need you two squawking about her buying a house?” Lenard snapped, unable to hold back his anger.
Cyrus was fuming, but he held his tongue.
Michael’s tone was sharp, “Sure, I wouldn’t sell this house cheaply to just anyone, but Lena is different.”
He then turned his attention to Sarah, “Sarah, you think I sold it cheaply because I have a crush on Lena? No, my connection with Miss Lena is more sophisticated than you can imagine.”
“Miss Lena’s talent in design is unmatched. The Ferguson Group wants to collaborate with someone of her
caliber.”
“Sarah, if you ever reach half of Miss Lena’s success, maybe I’d give you a discount too.”
Sarah was left speechless.
“Alright, it’s time for you two to leave,” Michael said, his face darkening.
How did someone with Cyrus‘ level of intellect manage to win over Judson and marry Nancy?
Was it because Cyrus proposed a hundred times and Nancy felt sorry for him?
Michael turned to Nancy and Judson with a smile. “Let’s not let this little incident spoil our mood. Let’s go check out the villa.”

Nancy nodded slightly, “Let’s go.”
With that, Judson clasped Nancy’s hand, whispering tenderly, “Let’s go see our new home.”
A soft smile appeared on Nancy’s lips as she responded, “Yeah, let’s do that.”
Watching Judson and Nancy walk away together, Cyrus was really starting to panic.
But before he could take another step, a group of bodyguards blocked their path.
The lead bodyguard said coldly, “Mr. Gordon, please leave, or we cannot guarantee what we might do.”
Cyrus was livid. “Get lost!”
He reached out to shove the bodyguards, but they were quickly on him.
Sarah was so frightened, she shouted, “Are you tired of living? Do you know who Mr. Gordon is?”
She glanced at Nancy, who was walking away, “Nancy, you were married to him once. Do you really need to be so ruthless?”
Nancy kept walking, not pausing or even glancing back.
Watching Nancy leave, Sarah grew even angrier. But the next moment, she felt a firm hand grip her shoulder.
