Michael? Cyrus narrowed his eyes suspiciously. Him again?!
The last auction was a fiasco, thanks to Michael and Judson teaming up. And now, here Michael was, back for revenge.
Cyrus‘ expression darkened. “Have you found out anything about the connection between Judson and Michael?”
“Not yet,” Caleb said carefully, “but our team’s still on it.”
“Keep digging. I.want every stone turned to find out who they are!” Cyrus said, clenching his fists tight.
He would deal with Michael and Judson, one by one.

“Lena, Rankin showed up at the studio again today, insisting on apologizing to you.”
Orlando’s voice was laced with anger. “I had security throw that idiot out. He let Cyrus get away with that stunt and still thinks he can work with us again? In his dreams!”
Nancy smirked slightly. “He’s not worth the trouble. Just block him.”
“I know,” Orlando sighed, guilt weighing heavy in his voice. “Lena, I’m sorry. If I’d known what would happen, I would never have let you go that night.”
“It’s not your fault. They had their sights set on me long before that. It was unavoidable.” Nancy shrugged it off, aware of just how low Cyrus could stoop.
Orlando knew it too, but he couldn’t shake the frustration and guilt. He changed the subject. “How’s Judson doing? Is his injury healing?”
Nancy glanced instinctively toward the bathroom, listening to the sound of running water.
“He’s doing much better. I’m planning to take him to the amusement park tomorrow for some fresh air. I’ll be back at the studio the day after,” Nancy replied calmly.
She had been staying home to ensure Judson could rest properly.
“Alright, you take care of Judson,” Orlando said, sounding more at ease. “I’ll get back to work now. Don’t let me interrupt you.”
Nancy hung up the phone, but the next second, a loud bang came from the bathroom.
Her expression shifted instantly, and she rushed to the door, calling out, “Judson, are you okay?”
There was no immediate response, which only heightened her worry. “Judson, answer me!”
A moment later, Judson’s voice, tinged with a hint of distress, came through. “Nancy, I just finished showering and slipped while putting on my towel. My hand… it hurts…”
There was a slight quiver in his voice, almost like he was about to cry.
Nancy didn’t hesitate and flung the door open.
There was Judson, sprawled out on the floor. His robe hung loosely around him, not even tied at the waist.
His well–defined abs and broad chest were on full display, tapering down into a tantalizing V–shape…
And his face, sprinkled with droplets of water, gave him an almost ethereal, angelic look.
Nancy’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson as she quickly turned away. “Is that how you wear a robe? I’ll wait outside.”
But before she could take a step, a strong, damp hand wrapped around her ankle.

Judson!”
‘Nancy, look.” Judson lifted his injured right hand, the bandage slightly stained with red.
Any fleeting thoughts Nancy had vanished as she focused on his hand, her concern taking over. “Get dressed properly and come out. I’ll re–bandage it.“
