Nancy turned to Lenard with urgency. “Help me get Judson to the hospital.”
Lenard nodded swiftly, reaching out to support Judson as they hurriedly left together.
Cyrus finally snapped back to reality, his mind replaying Nancy’s cold, departing look. He dashed down the stairs, driven by an impulsive need for confrontation.
“Nancy, you can’t just leave! You owe me an explanation-”
Before he could finish, Neil blocked his path. Cyrus was furious, barking, “Get out of my way!”
Anyone else might have backed down immediately, but not Neil. Instead, he gave a chilling smile. “Mr. Gordon, pushing Evergreen Global’s spokesperson down the stairs is a serious matter. Even if Miss Lena is willing to forgive you, Evergreen Global won’t.”
The crowd was stunned. Lena’s date was the spokesperson for Evergreen Global?
“I didn’t push Judson,” Cyrus retorted, anger flashing in his eyes. “Evergreen Global knows the truth. If they want a piece of me, I’m ready for them.”
Nancy could threaten him; he’d accept it willingly. But no one else had that right–not even Evergreen Global.
Neil smirked, “I’ll be sure to relay that message to Mr. Green.”
With that, Cyrus stormed off, his face a mask of fury.
The grand hall fell silent as the reality of the situation hit everyone. Evergreen Global had just declared a vendetta against The Gordon Group–this was going to make international headlines.
Before everyone could digest the turn of events, Michael casually remarked, “This is Ardenweald, after all. Let’s not let irrelevant people dampen our spirits. The party must go on.”
Laughter rippled through the crowd.
“Michael’s right. This isn’t Cyrus‘ turf. Even ten Gordon Groups couldn’t match Evergreen Global.”
“Exactly. Let’s not let him spoil our mood.”
Louis listened to the chatter, his mind whirling with confusion. Was it true that Cyrus had pushed Judson?
But why was Judson the spokesperson for Evergreen Global? The company had never had a spokesperson since its inception. And now they were in open conflict with The Gordon Group.
An absurd thought crept into Louis‘ mind. Could the legendary Mr. Green actually be Judson?
No, that couldn’t be. If Judson were really Mr. Green, he would have dealt with Cyrus long ago.
He needed to find out who Judson really was.
The party soon resumed its lively buzz.
Neil approached Michael with urgency, but was met with a mischievous gleam in Michael’s eyes.
“Can you believe the acting chops on Judson? If I cast him as the lead in my next movie, do you think he’d accept?”
Neil blinked in surprise. “Mr. Buchanan was acting? I knew it–he couldn’t possibly lose to Cyrus!”
“Lose to Cyrus?” Michael chuckled as if he had heard the most ridiculous joke. “Have you seen Judson in action? He’d wipe the floor with Cyrus, even if there were a dozen of him.”
Judson was a rare martial arts prodigy, his skills unmatched.

Meanwhile, Cyrus was out there, unable to spot Nancy. Frustration and anger boiled inside him. Why couldn’t Nancy see the truth? They were married, after all!
The memory of others‘ scornful looks only fueled his anger, reminding him of the time Nancy was accused of pushing Hayley. Everyone had looked at Nancy the same way…
Nancy’s pale, stricken face back then mirrored his own now, as if she too had been wrongly accused.
Wait a minute. Cyrus had a sudden realization and quickly dialed Baldrick.
“Baldrick, where’s the footage from the event Nancy attended with you? Send it to me immediately!”
