Michael glanced at the message on his phone, his face immediately darkening. 

“Judson, Nora is causing trouble again. Nancy might be in danger of getting bullied. We need to-” 

Before he could finish saying “get over there,” Judson had already dashed out of the room, his eyes cold and determined, 

Anyone who dared to mess with Nancy was asking for trouble. 

“Getting nervous, huh? Penny will be nowhere close to my level after this,” Nora taunted with a sneer. 

Deanna was visibly upset, but before she could respond, a voice cut through the tension. 

“Enough!” Potter’s voice boomed. “Nora, you’re way out of line. The main outfit was meant for Miss Penny.” 

The crowd turned their heads to see who had spoken. 

Nora’s face twisted with displeasure, clearly unhappy with Potter’s intervention. 

“Potter, are you, looking to get blacklisted by the big boss too?” 

“You!” Potter was furious; he’d never encountered an actress so brazen. 

Nora was about to retort when she caught sight of Nancy and Lenard standing at the door. 

Her gaze flicked to Nancy, filled with envy. 

Nora strode over to Nancy, looking her up and down. “So you’re Lena, the designer of this jewelry and clothing line?” 

Lenard sensed the malice in Nora’s eyes and immediately became alert. Compared to him, Nancy remained calm and composed. “Yes, I’m Lena.” 

As Nancy and Nora exchanged words, everyone’s attention was riveted on them. 

Nora’s once beautiful face was now twisted with a sneer as she looked at Nancy. 

“Tell them, am I the main star of this show?” 

Nancy replied steadily, “No, in my eyes, the main star is Miss Penny.” 

Her words were firm and left no room for negotiation. 

Nora’s face burned with anger, and she raised her hand to strike Nancy. 

“You little witch! Do you think being a designer means I won’t teach you a lesson?” 

“Nancy!” 

“Miss Lena!” 

Lenard and Potter’s expressions changed instantly, especially Lenard, who moved to shield Nancy.

Nora was caught off guard by Nancy’s resistance, and her face turned red with both embarrassment and anger. “Lena, you think just because The Sandro Group backs you, I won’t do anything? Push me too far, and I’ll have the big boss deal with you!” 

Lenard’s face darkened. “If you can’t speak civilly, don’t speak at all.”

Lenard was fuming, and even Nancy’s expression turned cold as she prepared to retort. 

A laid–back voice interrupted, “So you’re saying you climbed up The Grey Group ladder using your charms, stealing my client’s opportunities, and insulting my partners.” 

The crowd turned to see who had spoken. 

Nancy’s eyes flickered with surprise as she saw Michael stride in. 

Before she could avert her gaze, another figure appeared from behind Michael. 

“Nancy, I heard her badmouthing you!” Judson said. His sudden appearance caught Nancy off guard. “Judson, what are you-” 

Nora watched the handsome man, who seemed almost otherworldly, gripping Nancy’s shoulder, and her jealousy flared even more. 

“Hottie, you should break up with her. You have no idea how wild she is. Even the big boss said she used her body to secure deals with The Sandro Group and Potter.”
