Everyone’s eyes were fixed on Michael.
Michael smirked, “Nora wanted to take photos, but not just anyone can stroll into Potter’s conference room.”
Hearing Michael’s words, Judson and Nancy exchanged a glance, as if they had caught on to something.
Suddenly, they both turned to look at Potter.
Lenard was momentarily stunned. “Are you implying there’s a mole?”
As soon as those words left his mouth, everyone in the room seemed to understand.
Lenard swiftly turned to Potter. “Wasn’t it that day in the conference room when your assistant Jenny barged in saying there was a brawl backstage?”
She was the only one, besides them, who had access to the layout.
Potter’s face turned grim, clearly sharing the same thought. “I’ll investigate immediately.”
“No need,” Michael said coolly. “Three days ago, there was a mysterious $3 million deposit in her account, and her recent ‘sick leave‘ was just an excuse–she’s skipped town with the money.”
Potter’s eyes widened, his heart pounding. “Mr. Ferguson, do you know where Jenny might have gone? I need to bring her back right away!”
But before Michael could respond, Deanna rushed in from outside. “You guys need to check the trending news–Nora’s on a TX live stream, spinning lies and turning the tables.”
Nancy sensed trouble brewing.
As soon as they entered the live stream, Nora was covering her face with her hands, sobbing, “Ugh, I can’t handle this anymore. They’re clearly bullying me by throwing their weight around, and now they’re accusing me of stealing designs? If that’s really what people think, I might as well jump off a building.”
That statement was like a bomb going off, quickly rocketing to the top of the trending topics.
After Cyrus was thrown out by the security guards.
Caleb immediately ran over, looking worried, “Mr. Gordon, are you alright?”
Cyrus got up from the ground, disheveled, clenching his fists at the thought of Nancy’s earlier coldness.
Seeing Cyrus‘ silence, Caleb knew the negotiation with Nancy hadn’t gone well.
But there was something he had to mention.
“Mr. Gordon, your wife is trending again, and Nora’s still spreading lies in the live stream.”
Cyrus furrowed his brows, “Hand me the phone.”
Meanwhile, the live stream continued.
“Nora, is what you’re saying true?” the host asked, shocked.
Nora nodded quickly, “Of course, it’s true! And they say I have some bigwig backing me–how ridiculous! They’re just trying to muddy the waters. Those designs were personally created by the owner of TX.”
The reporter caught on to something amiss, “Nora, are you saying these drafts were drawn by the owner of TX? Do you have any proof?”
Before Nora could answer, an angry voice chimed in, “Of course there’s proof! Every draft is in my email. Lena, how did you manage to steal them?”
Outside the screen, Nancy watched Lucy suddenly appear on camera, her face gradually darkening.

“Lucy, the nutcase, is the owner of TX? That’s insane,” Lenard exclaimed, astonished.
Judson pursed his lips, his eyes holding a subtle and unreadable look.
The reporter recognized Lucy right away, “Are you the eldest daughter of the Allen family?”
“Yes, I am Lucy Allen,” she replied. “Lena, I know you have issues with me. Keep the focus on me and don’t drag innocent people into this.”
The reporter was puzzled, “Miss Lucy, what do you mean by that?”
No need for Lucy to respond, as Nora angrily interjected, “The CEO of the Sandro Group and Miss Lucy were engaged, but because of Lena, Mr. Sandro broke off the engagement with Miss Lucy.”
Nora’s words grew more heated, “Lena, you’ve gone too far. What did you do to make them call off the engagement?”
The live stream audience was in an uproar, not expecting such a scandal.
Sarah, standing behind the camera, smirked in satisfaction. So they want to throw dirt? Well, two can play at that game.
And this was just the beginning.
Listening to Nora and Lucy, Lenard shouted angrily, “That’s a load of crap! And what means? If Baldrick Robertson has his eyes on Lucy, then he must be blind.”
Even Potter couldn’t contain his anger, “Idiots!”
Judson’s sharp gaze fell on Nancy. “Nancy, are you alright?”
Nancy nodded lightly, though she felt increasingly uneasy inside. Just as she was about to speak, a new trending topic exploded onto the scene in a flash.
