After all, Baldrick’s main base was in Starfield City. 

“No worries, as long as Cyrus needs it,” Grey said, tilting his chin slightly. “Send it to my email” 

Lucy whipped out her smartphone and started typing away. Just as she was about to hit ‘send, something unexpected happened. 

“Mr. Grey, danger ahead!” the driver suddenly shouted in alarm. 

Grey sensed something was off. He turned his head just in time to see a truck barreling toward them from behind. 

“Turn the wheel, now!” he yelled, leaning forward urgently. 

But it was too late. 

All he heard was a deafening crash. 

“Ahhh!” Nora screamed in terror. 

The car shook violently, spinning and flipping over before it finally crashed down with a heavy thud. 

The air was thick with the metallic scent of blood. Lucy’s vision was foggy, her mind spinning in chaos. 

A faint voice broke through the haze, “Mr. Grey… it hurts…” 

Lucy instinctively looked at Nora, who had a steel rod through her shoulder, then at Grey, who had been thrown against the car window. 

Before she could react, the car door was yanked open with brute force. 

The next second, Grey was dragged out by his legs. 

Nora wanted to scream, but no sound came out. 

“Well, look who’s still breathing,” a mocking voice drawled. “And Lucy, too? Should we try another crash for good 

measure?” 

Nora and Lucy were both startled, eyes wide as they spotted a devilishly handsome man standing outside. 

Nora’s skin prickled with fear. “Mi–Michael Ferguson, why is it you? Did you really crash into the car deliberately?” 

“So what if I did?” Michael sneered. “You lot have some nerve, smearing Lena’s name and trying to shut down my Little Golden Awards. Did you think I’d just sit back and let you walk all over me?” 

Michael’s words were laced with cold amusement, sending shivers down Lucy’s spine. 

Her voice trembled as she asked, “What do you plan to do?” 

Michael’s grin was as sharp as a knife as he retorted, “Does it really matter what I do? What’s important is your next move. Have you thought about how Sarah might be doing right now?” 

Lucy was speechless. Nora’s heart pounded wildly in her chest. 

Before they could gather their wits, Michael gestured to his henchmen. “Take him away.” 

As Michael and his crew left, Lucy frantically pulled out her phone to call Sarah. 

But it wasn’t Sarah who picked up; it was her assistant, voice trembling with panic. “Miss Lucy, something terrible has happened! A group of people just took Miss Sarah away! They said to check the headlines!” 

Fear gripped Lucy. “Quick, contact Louis! Tell him to find Sarah!” 

After the call, the stress was too much, and Lucy fainted, her vision going black.

“Miss Lucy? Miss Lucy, are you okay?!” 

Nora was left in a state of utter panic. Michael didn’t even care about the second–in–command. It was all over… everything was over…. 

Time passed in a blur. 

A splash of cold water jolted Grey awake. He realized his hands and feet were bound tightly with ropes, and he cursed instinctively. 

“Who the hell-” His words caught in his throat as he saw the figure seated in the chair, exuding a chilling aura. The man had a face like a fallen angel, handsome but devoid of warmth. 

The air seemed to freeze with the intensity of his presence. 

Grey’s eyes widened in shock, then lit up with a strange excitement. “Judson Buchanan, you finally showed up. What’s your relationship with Lena? Even when you were being hunted, you stayed hidden. Aren’t you going to root out the traitor in your ranks?!”
