Chapter 227
The warmth drained from Nancy’s face entirely.
“So, who exactly is backing them up to go against me?” she demanded
Just as the words hung in the air, Potter spoke up calmly, “Miss Lena, this whole mess is my fault too. I have a video to release.”
The screen went wild with anticipation.
“What? There’s a twist? Spill the beans!” The chat was buzzing.
Even the reporters were taken aback, their eyes darting to Potter. “Mr. Potter, what do you mean?”
Potter didn’t hesitate. He pulled out his phone and hit a button to make a call.
It was a recording from a day in the conference room with Lena and Lenard.
Suddenly, Jenny burst through the door in a fluster. “Big trouble! Nora and Penny’s agents are having a fight backstage. You need to go check it out!”
The scene quickly shifted to them leaving, and in the next moment, Jenny returned, hurriedly snapping pictures of the documents on the table with her phone.
Soon after, she was on a call, her expression smug. “Miss Sarah, I’ve got what you wanted. Don’t forget the favor you promised me.”
Gasps echoed through the crowd.
The live audience was clearly stunned, too.
Lenard scoffed, “So Miss Sarah and Miss Lucy, and Nora are in cahoots? How noble of them to falsely accuse my mentor of plagiarism! Such a talented designer, and you stoop so low!”
Unlike the fuming Lenard, Nancy remained composed. “I believe everyone can judge for themselves now. It’s clear who’s copying whom. I’m taking this to court, and I will get justice.”
With those words, Winnie shot a glance at her assistant.
The broadcast was finally cut.
“Nancy.” Judson was quick to move in, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
Nancy caught the curious looks from those around and cleared her throat, “Steady on.”
There were so many eyes watching.
Judson obediently stepped back, standing behind her like an attentive shadow.
Potter, despite a hint of disappointment in his eyes, forced a smile. “Miss Lena, I’ve already handed Jenny over to the authorities. Just wait, the tables have turned.”
“No need to wait, the tables have already turned!” Winnie exclaimed, her phone in hand, excitement in her voice. Nancy pulled out her own phone, and there it was, a post from Penny.
Penny not only shared it but exposed how Nora had insulted her, calling her a washed–up old woman.
Almost simultaneously, Nora, Lucy, and Sarah were back on the trending list.
And then, Baldrick made a move, revealing the original designs.
“The Sandro Group: Who’s right or wrong? Everyone can decide, but Lena’s talent is undeniable. She doesn’t need to plagiarize!”
The comments section was overwhelmingly supportive now.

Many demanded apologies from those who had previously insulted Nancy.
Yet, a few stubborn voices lingered.
“Isn’t Lena just bullying the underdog? I only believed in Lena because Evergreen Global spoke up.”
“Hey, check the trending topics, Evergreen Global just made another statement!”
Nancy saw the comment and refreshed her feed. Sure enough, Evergreen Global had posted.
“Evergreen Global: Lena’s talent is exclusively recognized by us. Grey spoke out of turn for their mistress Nora without my consent. The spokesperson has been fired–Evergreen Global.”
Nancy was momentarily taken aback, even Lenard was stunned.
“Sis, Evergreen Global actually spoke up for you!!!”
That was unprecedented.
The room buzzed with astonishment, Judson remained unfazed. Of course, Evergreen Global had to speak up for Nancy.
To dispel the notion that only Grey could stand up for their lovers.
He could speak up for his beloved too.
Evergreen Global’s endorsement changed everything.
The accusations of plagiarism were overturned. Not only that, but Lucy, Nora, and Sarah’s dirty laundry was aired for all to see.
Suddenly, they were the subjects of public scorn.
Nancy’s popularity skyrocketed, surpassing even her previous fame from collaborations with The Sandro Group.
She was now heralded as the heir apparent to the design throne.

Hayley Grant stared at the online praise for Nancy, unable to suppress her irritation. She slammed her phone onto the floor.
“Damn it, why does Nancy get to rise again! She was supposed to be finished. The big shot behind TX Runway Show is supposed to be Mr. Grey.”
