Chapter 74 

“The runway has four seasons, four catwalks converging into the final path leading to the Sandro Group’s grand entrance.” 

Nancy’s lips parted slightly. “Together through the seasons, the Sandro Group awaits you. That’s my vision, Mr. Sandro. What do you think?” 

“Together through the seasons, the Sandro Group awaits you.” Baldrick’s heart raced as he looked over Nancy’s sketches. 

Suddenly, he looked up at Nancy, his voice filled with conviction. “Nancy, it’s an honor for me to collaborate with you on this project for the Sandro Group.” 

When Baldrick extended his hand, Nancy didn’t hesitate to shake it firmly. 

Lenard blinked and said, “Mr. Sandro, isn’t Nancy amazing?” 

He knew Nancy could win anyone over with her talent. 

“Of course.” Baldrick released Nancy’s hand, his tone eager, “The show is in a month. When can you come by the office to review everything?” 

Nancy answered, “In a few days, right after I wrap up this event.” 

Baldrick didn’t push further, pulling out the contract from his bag. “Sign here, and let’s grab some dinner. 

Nancy nodded, briefly scanning the contract before signing her name on the last page. 

Soon, they closed the deal. 

Baldrick ordered a feast, including Nancy’s favorites, even going as far as placing crab meat peeled and ready to eat right before her. 

Seeing how attentive Baldrick was, Lenard handed him a glass of wine and said,“Hey Baldrick, with how good you’re treating Nancy, you don’t have a crush on her, do you? 

Nancy’s brow furrowed slightly. 

Baldrick smiled, breezily responding, “I value talent, and I’d treat you just the same if you were as outstanding 

as Nancy.” 

Lenard pouted, “That’s what I don’t like to hear. You might as well say I’ll never reach her level.” 

With that, he downed his drink in mock anger. 

Baldrick silently finished his drink and turned to Nancy, “Care for a drink?” 

Nancy didn’t refuse, raising her glass. “To a successful collaboration.” 

“Yes, to success,” Baldrick echoed with a smile. 

Suddenly excited, Lenard interrupted, “Me too, me too!” 

The rounds went on, with Lenard being the first to succumb to the alcohol, his head feeling heavy. 

“Nancy, why do I see two of you?” Lenard looked at Nancy, reaching out to touch her, only to collapse with a thud. 

Nancy was stunned. 

“Face down. That must hurt,” Baldrick commented coldly, though his gaze remained clear. “Lenard, you’re a classic case of being bad at drinking yet loving it.” 

“You can call me bad but not a lover of fun. I’m a catch. I have to stay pure for Winnie,” Lenard ended with a snicker.

Noticing Lenard’s silly grin, Nancy gave a slight sigh and stepped forward. “Lenard, get up.” But before she could say more, Baldrick lifted Lenard up. 

Baldrick tilted his head. “Let’s go. I’ll take you home.” 

Nancy was about to refuse when she saw Lenard asleep on Baldrick’s shoulder. 

Lenard was an unreliable guy. Baldrick was right all talk and no game! 

With no other choice, Nancy followed Baldrick out. Baldrick tossed Lenard into the car, instructing the driver to take him home. 

Then he turned to Nancy, a shadow of intent in his eyes. “Nancy, you’ve had a drink, too. It’s unsafe for you to drive. Shall I take you home?” 

Nancy hesitated, but Baldrick had opened the car door for her before she could respond, his gaze sharpening and his voice deepening, “Nancy, don’t you trust me, or do you think I would harm you?”
