Chapter 126 

Nancy’s mind went blank, the world around her turning to darkness, with the metallic taste of blood lingering beneath her nose. 

Before she could gather her thoughts, Hackett’s hysterical voice pierced through the fog. 

“Strip her down! She’ll submit after being fucked. When she’s out of it from the drugs, we can easily call Evergreen Global.” 

A group of men, clearly excited by the command, echoed, “Yes!” 

Nancy sensed the danger and felt her clothes being yanked violently- 

Her pale skin was exposed to Hackett and his group of men, his eyes filled with greed as he lunged forward, unable to contain his excitement. 

She could feel Hackett’s weight pressing down, even catching the stench of his breath. 

And yet, her hands and feet were tightly restrained by others. 

It was utterly revolting. 

Nancy stared at Hackett and the eager eyes of his men, their faces blurring into a hateful memory… 

Suddenly, the door burst open with a loud crash. 

The men paused, startled, especially Hackett, who didn’t have a chance to react before a fist sent him flying. 

Hackett slammed into a camera, too shocked to comprehend what had happened. 

Nancy looked at Judson, who had appeared out of nowhere, her eyes welling up with uncontrollable emotion. She opened her mouth to speak. 

But the surge of anger overwhelmed her, and she fainted, the world slipping away. 

“Nancy!” Judson shouted, his voice rising sharply and his face losing all color as he saw the blood on Nancy’s- face. 

Hackett, pale as a ghost, struggled to stand, his gaze fixed on the young man who had interrupted. “Who the hell are you? Another one of Lena’s flings?” 

Judson didn’t answer, instead swiftly taking off his jacket to cover Nancy. 

Then, his head snapped up, eyes blazing with fury as he glared at Hackett. “Did you hit her?” 

The person he cherished, whom he couldn’t even bear to touch! 

His deep voice was chilling, carrying an edge of menace. 

Hackett stared into Judson’s dark, intimidating eyes, and for some reason, every hair on his body stood on end. “W–who are you?” 

But before his trembling voice could fade, another voice chimed in 

“Isn’t he the one you’ve been looking for?” 

Hackett’s finger froze mid–point, instinctively turning to see Michael walking in with others, his mind going blank.. 

“Michael, what do you mean by that?” 

Michael didn’t bother to answer, his gaze landing on the blood on Nancy’s forehead, his face full of ‘sympathy‘ as he looked at Hackett. “You dared to lay a hand on Mr. Green’s woman? You’re done for.” 

The CEO of Evergreen Global was a mysterious figure. He stayed behind the scenes, making significant decisions with just a word and often delegating even company signings to his vice president. 

Chapter 12 

Hackett’s scalp tingled with fear, staring at the murderous intent in Judson’s eyes. He opened his mouth to speak but was abruptly silenced. 

Before he could react, a large hand clamped around his throat. 

A moment later, punches rained down on him. 

Hackett had no chance to fight back, and in an instant, he felt his face caving in, the sound of cracking bones echoing in his ears. 

Hackett’s men started to step forward to intervene, but seeing Michael blocking their way, they hesitated. 

Only when Judson finished venting his fury did he release Hackett’s neck, expressionless. 

Hackett collapsed to the ground like a ragdoll, his face unrecognizable, blood and saliva mingling in a pitiful 

mess. 

But he didn’t dare cry out in pain. Trembling all over and with a face full of humility, he looked at Judson. “M–Mr. Green, I know I was wrong! I didn’t know Lena was your woman…”
