Not just Alice, even Baldrick turned his intense gaze toward Nancy.

runway.”
“But Lena is the only one who can save the day for Only You. She designed these clothes and jewelry. She even decided on the music beats.”
Alice grew more animated with each word. “And the best part is that Lena and I are about the same height and size. Plus, she’s prettier than me, which means she could really make the jewelry and clothes shine.”
Judson’s face darkened further. “Absolutely not!”
Alice looked at the angry Judson, whose eyes seemed to hold a chilling frost. He was intimidating, to say the
least.
Left with no choice, Alice turned her gaze to Baldrick, “Mr. Robertson…”
Baldrick didn’t respond immediately. Instead, his eyes went past Judson, settling on Nancy.
“Nancy, are you considering stepping in? If you don’t want to, we can postpone the show.”
Nancy’s eyes were filled with complexity.
Alice looked confused. “How can we postpone? We’ve already spent a fortune on marketing! Delaying could cost us billions! Plus, it’s the perfect chance for both sides to succeed. The Sandro Group and Lena’s Studio could really benefit…
Baldrick remained earnest. “Nancy, none of that matters. I understand your concerns.
After all, Cyrus was still out there, offering a reward for any information about Nancy’s whereabouts.
Nancy lowered her gaze, clearly contemplating the situation.
“Nancy, no one can force you to do anything you don’t want to.” Judson took her hand, his expression somber.
Interrupted from her thoughts, Nancy looked up at Judson’s serious face, then at Alice’s disapproval, and finally at Baldrick’s earnestness.
In the end, Nancy made up her mind. “No, I’m willing to take the stage. Like Alice said, this is a golden opportunity for mutual gain! I’m confident this will be a huge success!”
She had been a housewife for Cyrus, and what had that marriage amounted to? Betrayal? And to make matters. worse, the other woman was even pregnant!
