Just then, Justin pushed the door open and entered the hospital room.
Emily frowned, giving him a puzzled look, and asked coldly “What are you doing here?”

Justin glanced at her, as if looking at an idiot. “The school called, saying you got hurt.” With that, he tossed the bag in his hand onto the hospital bed.

“Next time, pick a man who’s worth it, so you don’t get fooled again.”
Justin wasn’t the same as he had been at the villa. He looked like he had completely given up.
Emily rolled her eyes, her back to him. The worst mistake she ever made was liking Justin three years ago.
Could anyone be worse, more of a jerk than him? She had been blind once, but she wouldn’t make that mistake twice.
“Alright, you’ve seen what you came to see, now get out. I need to change clothes.” The nurse had just applied ointment to the side of her leg and upper body, so she had temporarily changed into a hospital gown.
Holding her clothes, she stood up and gestured for him to leave.
Justin turned around and, surprisingly obediently, started walking to the door. Suddenly, he paused as if he had remembered something. “Next time you’re at school, update the contact information. If anything happens to you again, don’t have them call me. I don’t want Emma getting the wrong idea about us.‘
