Chapter 48
Justin didn’t see any issue with having two women in his life. After all, in their circles, it was common for CEOs and business owners to have more than one woman by their side.
However, his obsession with Emily’s body only deepened his guilt toward Emma.
The group exited the VIP terminal and headed straight to the underground parking garage, with Zac and Sam following behind.
By the car, Emma clung to Justin, her voice soft and hesitant. “Justin, are you heading back to work again?”
Justin, thinking about how he was secretly keeping Emily, couldn’t help but feel another pang of guilt toward Emma.
“No, I’ll take you home first,” he replied with a gentle smile.
Emma’s mood instantly brightened, and she beamed at him
Zac stood off to the side, watching their overly cozy interaction, and smirked.
With a small scoff, he said, “Well, Sam, we’d better head out before we end up as third wheels for your boss.”
Emma lowered her head, looking uncomfortable.
Justin shot Zac a cold glare, silently warning him to stop with the remarks.
Unbothered, Zac grabbed his suitcase and headed for his car
Sam gave a polite bow before saying, “Mr. Yates, I’ll head back to the office now.”
Justin nodded. “Alright.”
Justin then gently placed a hand on Emma’s waist, steadying her as she climbed into the car.
Unbeknownst to them, a paparazzo hid behind a support column, his camera clicking away as he captured every
moment.
“Let’s go. Drive and follow them,” the paparazzo said, hopping into the passenger seat and urging his partner.
The car tailed Justin’s car all the way to the upscale neighborhood of Regal Estates. Somehow, the paparazzi had obtained an access pass, allowing them to follow Justin’s car into the underground parking lot.
Justin dismissed his bodyguard, William, instructing him to leave. He personally carried Emma’s suitcase, fixed her slightly messy hair, adjusted her hat, and held her hand as they walked toward the elevator.
The paparazzo furiously clicked his camera, capturing every moment as they entered the elevator.
Justin escorted Emma all the way to her home.
“Justin, why don’t you stay for dinner? The meals my housekeeper makes are amazing!” Emma pleaded, holding onto him.
“Sure,” Justin replied calmly, setting down her suitcase.
Emma lit up with joy and ran to the kitchen to help with preparations. At some point, she had donned a lacy apron, looking like she had stepped out of a charming domestic scene.
As Justin watched Emma bustling around in the kitchen, his thoughts involuntarily drifted to Emily.

Emily, who used to prepare a comforting broth for him late at night after he returned from business dinners, gently massaging his temples with care.
Emily, who would excitedly showcase her newly learned cooking skills whenever he had a rare day off.
Emily, who once tried to knit him a sweater after watching online tutorials. The first one had turned out horribly ugly, but she had insisted he wear it anyway, pouting until he gave in.
As Justin thought about it, he frowned. That sweater Emily had knitted was so hideous, he had no idea where it ended up.
He vaguely remembered asking Mrs. Zimmer to throw it away.
An inexplicable irritation rose in him.
As Emma busied herself in the kitchen, happy and carefree, Justin quietly stepped out into the living room. He walked to the floor–to–ceiling windows, pulled out his phone from his suit pocket, and checked his messages.
Scrolling to Emily’s chat, he hesitated for a moment. His inbox was flooded, but he immediately re–pinned her chat to the top of his private account.
The action caused Emily’s chat to appear above Emma’s.
Justin finished typing his message and sent it to Emily.
“Stay away from Sean. Keep your distance. Everything that happened before is in the past. I won’t hold it against you.”
