Chapter 59
Helen clenched her fist in frustration, declaring, “That scumbag!”
Emily chuckled softly. Having someone stand behind you, supporting and protecting you, was such a comforting feeling.
She tried to calm Helen down. “Take it easy. I’ve changed my number, so he won’t be able to reach me now. But I’m worried he might send someone to keep an eye on you.
Helen scoffed, waving an imaginary fist. “If he dares, I’ll handle them one by one! Let him try!”
Then, an idea struck Helen. “Do you think he’s harassing you because he wants to get back together?”
“He’s not trying to reconcile,” she mused silently. “He just wants me back as his hidden mistress.”
“You better not even think about taking him back!” Helen warned firmly.
“Don’t worry. I won’t have anything to do with him again!” She quickly reassured Helen, wanting to put her at
ease.
“How’s it going with Sean lately? Is he keeping things lively?” Helen teased with a mischievous laugh.
The mention of Sean reminded Emily of something. “Isn’t Sean in his senior year of high school? Shouldn’t he be in class? How does he have so much free time to hang out all the time?”
She also recalled the trip to the beachside villa.
“Oh, didn’t he tell you?” Helen said, munching on something that muffled her words. “His grades were so good, he got an early admission and doesn’t have to attend school if he doesn’t want to.”
Emily was surprised. “He didn’t mention that!”
“Typical Sean,” Helen laughed. “He probably didn’t want to brag in front of you.”
Emily hadn’t expected Sean to be so accomplished. She couldn’t help but feel a spark of admiration.
Not long after the call ended, Sean returned, looking slightly irritated. However, his face lit up the moment he saw Emily.
“Emily, let’s grab lunch first, and then I’ll take you to Jupiter Land!” he said, starting the car:
“Jupiter Land?” Emily’s mood lifted instantly, her excitement visible.
In her current memory, Emily couldn’t recall ever visiting an amusement park. Justin had always dismissed such activities as childish.
When she met Helen, she gave up on the idea altogether, figuring it wasn’t worth pursuing. Over time, she had simply forgotten about it.
Now, hearing Sean mention it reignited that old spark of excitement, and Emily was genuinely thrilled.
Seeing her happy made Sean feel just as delighted.
Perhaps it was the thought of Jupiter Land, but Emily finished her lunch unusually quickly.
By the time they arrived at Jupiter Land, the sun was blazing. Sean came prepared, pulling out sunscreen spray and an umbrella.
“Take it easy, Emily!” he called out as Emily eagerly picked up her pace.

Chapter 59
They rode the roller coaster, carousel, bumper cars, and even off–road rides. Every time Emily saw a picturesque spot or a favorite cartoon character, Sean would crouch to get the perfect shot.
While Emily enjoyed herself, Sean busied himself editing the photos and sending them to her.
He also shared them on his social media with a carefully crafted caption.
Soon enough, the comments started rolling in.
Sean’s red–haired friend teased, “Sean, ‘moving fast, huh? Already locked down your girl?”
Sean shot back, “Looks like someone’s slacking off on their tutoring!”
Meanwhile, Justin had just finished an international meeting. His phone buzzed with a notification. It was Sean’s latest post.
Since Justin had previously set alerts for Sean’s posts to track Emily’s whereabouts, he opened it immediately. Though he couldn’t see the comments, he could see Sean’s beautifully edited photos of Emily.
His expression darkened as his finger tapped the screen hardler than necessary to save the pictures.
Without hesitation, he forwarded them to Sam.
“Find out everything,” he ordered coldly.
