Ellie pursed her lips and remained silent.
After chatting with Nancy for a while, Ellie saw her off at the airport. As soon as she left the airport, Ellie spotted Haley waiting for her not far away, accompanied by two women.
Ellie frowned and turned to walk in the opposite direction. She had to get back to the hospital for work and didn’t want to waste her time on these insignificant people.
Seeing Ellie avoiding her as if she were guilty, Haley, along with the two tall and sturdy women, chased after her.
Ellie was intercepted by Haley on the sidewalk. Looking back at the two formidable women behind her, Ellie turned and ran towards the road.
Ellie hadn’t taken two steps before she was grabbed by the hair and pulled back by one of the sturdy women behind her. Haley, wearing high heels, stood with her arms crossed over her chest. A malicious glint flashed in her eyes. “Ellie, I told you, if you dare to compete with me for Alex, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”
Ellie looked around. In front of her was Haley, with a burly woman on her left and another behind her, and a green belt on the sidewalk to her right. She was cornered and had no way to run.
“Last time, Alex was protecting you. Let’s see who can protect you today, you little bitch!” Haley waved her hand, and the two women lunged at Ellie together.

Being skinny, Ellie was no match for the two strong women. She was quickly grabbed by her hair and dragged in front of Haley.
Ellie, with her hair pulled, was forced to meet Haley’s malicious gaze. “Haley, you are truly beyond redemption!”

Ellie’s face stung with a burning pain. Her arms were forcibly held by the two sturdy women, unable to break free, and she could only call for help.

Ellie struggled desperately, looking for a chance to fight back. But she was alone and no match for the three of them.
In the past, when she took self–defense classes with Alex, she spent most of her time doing her assignments. Even target shooting was something Alex forced her to learn.
“Ellie, how can you be such a slut?” Haley vented all her anger on Ellie.
She pinched Ellie’s face, her sharp nails digging into Ellie’s flesh leaving bright red streaks of blood. “I ask you, how long have you been sleeping with Alex?”
“Haley, get those filthy thoughts out of your head!” Ellie’s hands were restrained by the two women, one on each side. She couldn’t break free but didn’t want to give up.
Her face was lacerated by Haley, stinging with pain. Ellie knew she was disfigured. She lowered her head and suddenly bit down hard on Haley’s arm, not letting go.
